This does remind me of a message Naxeht put up with a wide angle lens, photographing a tv, made me chuckle !
I am within 5m of their braking point on every corner and get back on the gas around the same time and sometimes earlier but they’re at 3-8 MPH more speed at the apex on every corner.
It’s such an art isn’t it. Every time I try it I just miss the apex and run wide.Every comparison lap ever IMHO. I look at the overly of the data and it always comes down to mid corner apex speed. I brake and gas at very similar times, take same lines but carrying mid corner is the real key and on a normal lap I am 2.5% off the fastest time int he world, so usually about 3 seconds or so, just from a few KMH at each apex.
Spent a bit of time in Quali and took 4 tenths off my time down to 1.47.661. Pretty happy with that.
Spent a good half an hour after analyzing my lap against the fastest lancer which was a 1.46.8xx
Man those fast guys just manage to pull some fancy hocus pocus fairy dust bull **** in the middle of the corners.
I am within 5m of their braking point on every corner and get back on the gas around the same time and sometimes earlier but they’re at 3-8 MPH more speed at the apex on every corner. Not only is it above my skill level but it’s above my comprehension as I just can’t for the life of me work out how they’re getting the car turned and out at that speed. Unbelievable talent and incredible to watch the control they have!!!! I can’t imagine they’re squirming in the seat and driving the car with their full body like I am 😂🤦♂️
Here’s my lap and I’ve shared it under GTplanet if anyone wants to use it as a ghost
👌Ok ok okaaaaaayyyyyy I have bowed down to peer pressure and retired my Nokia 3310 that I was taking videos on!!
Here is a crisp PS5 to YouTube
That’s also a good way to describe GVH this week, a seat of the pants ride! 😁GR3 at Road Atlanta next week will be a blast, it's pretty sketchy with contact but super high adrenaline all the way round the track.
Audi TT @ trial mountain, I’ll take that
I love getting messages like that![...]one especially cracking race had me and this guy going two wide through the last chicane, without touching and que his message at the end, must have taken ages to type that 🤣
Absolutely love SammySnake's snake verdict vids where players share with him glitches, dirty driving incidents or unfair penalty scenarios for him to give a verdict on. Most of them are damn funny to see as an outsider. Am sure most of us have come across such scenarios many a times in daily races. Take a look friends...
P.S. - To celebrate 30k subscribers, he's giving away a Fanatec CSL Elite Steering Wheel Porsche Vision GT via lucky draw. You just need to be a resident of U.K. & comment something that he specifies during the vid. BTW, I absolutely enjoy the snake verdict vids.
GR.3 at Road Atlanta might be my favorite combination in the game.
i haven't done a GR.4 race since the Hyundai became the meta. I don't expect to start now.The meta strat is to not do the race at all, give ’em bad numbers.
One competitive player I race with always uses NSX & does well in that car. If not the NSX, You still have Elantra, Mazda3, Scirocco, Huracan & Cayman. Although, not as competitive but they're viable choices, if not bad.Are there any other viable options for race C in the actual race apart from the Audi TT?
Saw a guy using the Honda the other day doing great times with it but I tried it in qualifying & can't seem to stop it from spinning at the chicane
Tried the dodge but it was terrible, same with the G70.
I've pretty much only seen TTs all week in race C.
Sometimes there might be a car that's 3 tenths slower per lap but for whatever reason I'm able to get more out of it, than I can get out of the "meta" car
That's good to know, I'll try some of those other options tonight. One competitive player I race with always uses NSX & does well in that car. If not the NSX, You still have Elantra, Mazda3, Scirocco, Huracan & Cayman. Although, not as competitive but they're viable choices, if not bad.
Also, don't forget to use ASM in qualy & race even.
Well known & established players are using ASM because that's the name of the game. If You don't use it + not driving the Audi TT = You'll lose out big time in the race. Thus, hurting Your DR.That's good to know, I'll try some of those other options tonight.
As for ASM, honestly not interested. Everyone has a right to do what they want but I think assists should be banned from ranked play, especially at B or higher.
This combo is always a banger. Nice to see RM/RS as well.GR.3 at Road Atlanta might be my favorite combination in the game.
The effect of not using it has been extremely marginal & not hurting my DR anywhere near as much as the physics update has doneWell known & established players are using ASM because that's the name of the game. Anything that helps to go as fast as possible is more than welcome.I still say ASM being faster in a Gr4 FWD car means it is broken. The whole point of ASM is stability management, but it's actually allowing the car to tuck it's nose in better through fast corners, it should slow you down not make you faster in that respect.
