Too late in the week to be bothering with racing so I decided to play with the clio at Brands. I did about 40 laps and I am still .3 seconds off @newmedia_dev 's time...I gave up 🤣🤣🤣🤣

I will wait until the new set of dailies on Monday I think.

I could keep going but it's not a particularly easy car to drive, 1 slip in the kerb and it's game over 🤣🤣 I gave up and went for a pint instead 🙈 I did get into the top 500 but that's a bit pointless really 🤣. The tracks this week just don't really get me motivated at all

To be honest I’ve given up and gone for a pint or 5 as well.

I love the track time more than I like other people 🤣🤣🤣

Can’t decide which one I prefer, had 3 races earlier, won 1, so switched back to the G70 and won another, those are hard to split

I honestly think it comes down to the lobby.

The choke point is they both cars carry different apex speeds and line, and the exits can be hit and miss.

In race trim over a whole lap I think the G70 is faster, in QT with no traffic the Atenza is quicker.

It’s sort of interesting and not at the same time.

The G70 is a safer race choice the Mazda is the faster car but it isn’t as easy to extract the time from.

Having just got home, I actually want to share this, not only is Luc exceptionally fast but also very clear in why braking earlier is faster. With explaining it

Thanks for uploading this, I love stuff like this, kireth did one recently where he spoke about braking hard and fast and coast around the corner and accelerate and really it helped.

That one you mention is not something I engage with.

I try to post or share honest/good content. That person does very little of that.

No it’s fine, I’m new to all of this, serious race craft. I’m in it for the experience so the more I see the more I learn,

Had a surpsingly decent Daily Race C at Laguna today! Me trusty Hyundai Genesis redeemed itself so well! Started at the back on 14th place and worked my way up to 5th overall, was on pole for a few laps also!

If you open that right handed, and brake a bit later, you, open up for that quad turn you'd be even more dangerous! I'm twitchy in the spot your solid, I'm solid in other spots!

Your high B/S? Seems we're close in skill I'm mid B/S

Has anyone come across someone using a lag switch? Doing daily race B and the leader gained 1.5s after instantaneously dropping 40kmh, getting hit by the person slipstreaming, then getting launched to 240kmh by the collision. Seemed very... convenient
