I didn't like the Catalunya as well. Yesterday, i had so much to do, that i couldn't even qualify and started last in a half Dr B SR A or less, other half C S. And P1and p2 were Dr A. It was the 01:10 am race. I took my Jägermeister Z4, which eats a 911alive (like planes eat birds), speedwise. I switch tcs during the race, left it mostly at 2, balance +3, and aks on... It was a very disciplined group, through the first little S-curves only one went wide, on the long right hander i saw three next to each other.. And then the whole party started somewhere in the top 5, there was a yellow flag and from one moment to the other complete chaos everywhere. Ramming, spinning, ghosting, yellow flag violation. Do you guys remember Pirates of the Caribbean? The super big and fast ship of the British Empire gets shredded to pieces, while the Captain walks majestically down the stairs. I was the captain and because of penalties, i was P 7 (and became nervous, with a pack of angry Bee's behind me) right before the super slow left. Same place next lap an Austrian pushed me, fully intentional, so wide that I can assure you, there is another strip of racetrack after the green, which leads right back on track 😂,, thanks to the extra speed, i was right behind him, before the next right (going slightly uphill). I bet he was cursing and sure i will send him out. No penalty for him though, so i was left with a bad taste in my mouth.
I finished P8, but honestly, the first lap was so amazing, my best lap in race was 1:46. Xxx both Dr A stayed 1 and 2. The Austrian earned a blue SR A, so happy for him and can't wait to show my happiness next race i see him.

@Haitauer lol, in all honesty, i would never have thought, that you were serious, with the break checking. I was smiling, like lol yeah great idea, you'll be famous in no time.
I think, i am the slowest here, who regularly writes something, but i have close to!!!! 500!!! Gran turismo friends, sorry i don't know them all by name.. We had very aggressive driving in the beginning of the year.. But in my opinion, i would not even mention the topic. Cause i enjoyed the racing very much lately. In like every 3rd race, there were one, max. 3 bad drivers (those who have real issues in their head, blocking, diving, they are pro's in every category) but if someone complains (not you) , about some bumping, side to side touching (not pushing off track) at brands hatch, for example, then those people should stick to formula 1 racing. Fair fighting, is a skill and can be fun...... I wrote too much again 🥔

I muss admit that yesterday I didn't give the rigth look to race C. I initially thought it was the same usual carnage party it was last time in gr1. Now I'm really surprised by the fact that it's a total "première" never seen before with full day time and weather dynamics. Still lil confused though. Really, guys, at Daylies department there has to be happened something like a significant change since a while. This sommer we had almost every week a "gem race" (either A, B or C), and now this magnificent combo. So, Friday I'll improve my race A time only for fun, but I'll stick all weekend at Le Mans like @Childe Roland; starting from back with no QT.

Anyone remember what tyre we had the last time we were at Barcelona with group 3 in June? And has there been a bop update since then? The beetle feels twitchier on the gas than i remember and i just went half a second faster in the Huracan for a 42 flat.

The whole model has changed, bop for the cars and also physics or tires but I’d have to check but the last few times were race hard tires?

All of the cars are more sensitive to power now, if you watch the replays you’ll see a slightly smoother power application, and some times dab of throttle and the last 1/3rd being applied later.

You really have to self analyse a bit on your driving style in that the cars are drivable fast way faster than us with no drama or slipping/angles. We need to understand and learn how to drive these cars, if they are slipping it’s largely something we are doing

I checked, it was RS last time so that makes sense, I am about 8 tenths off and it makes sense the MR car is a little better with RM vs the RWD car with RS.

That makes sense that the tires had more grip, but ultimately it doesn’t matter when you have to race the same parameters as everyone else. The relative scale adjusts well relatively?

Well it does matter because it felt different, especially exiting that awkward left where you brake down hill and gas it up hill (turn 6?). So this makes sense, explains why there's a touch more slip and the MR car feels better there. I've never raced the Huracan, I need a livery, I feel naked!

We can really only race and adjust to what’s in front of us, so I’m just cracking on these days. Turn 6 7 months ago it’s not the same but I can only race this week to this weeks spec the rest is moot, excuses or a distraction.

You've a habit of putting words in my mouth I never said. I'm not making excuses, i'm not failing to adjust, all i said was on exit the Beetle feels less safe than it did and it makes sense an MR car feels a bit more easier on the gas with less grippy rubber.

Ran my first ever race with thr hurican group 3, I guess my transition to a wheel is complete cos with a dpad it was suicide.

I'm faster than most of the B guys but slower than most of the A guys. My livery is the Erebus racing livery from the 2022 Bathurst 12 hr. If you don't know what a chiko roll is, best to hit the Google cos it is hard to explain.

Trying Cata this week but I can say the try harders and dirty drivers are out of the limit...
Many races in last due hard bumps...

When u ask "wtf u r doing" - they said you cry too much...its incredible.

A lobbies are so much spicy than B lobbies...
Are they so afraid from derank? im doing my 5th derank on B and mostly caused by dirty drives...
life keep going anyway.

OT but may as well ask you guys, how do you get photos from the races to the PS App? I am having to take a screenshot and crop, and I get colour casts, i'd like to take my snap and have it in the PS App directly so i can post it here.

Pause the replay, use the PS share button and as long as you have the settings enable share to PS app it appears there and you just download it to your photos and its available to insert in the post. Takes about 10 seconds start to finish.

Is this saving a screenshot though or an actual capture? Take the photo and when you are viewing it save a screenshot of it and that’s how you get it to the PS App, it’s the easiest method.

There is no other way to get the photos out of GT you can export them to the media center but that won’t help get them to the App or your phone

I found it just last weekend, after more than a year on GT7. When you pause the replay with the antagonist button of the one "take pictures or videos" (on joypad) you'll have 8 camera angles within you can choose. When you select one of those, it automatically appears the "photo app" with all the needed options (zoom, angle, exposition, focus, etc). I beleive @ZEE is very familiar with that option since he share always nice captures of his races. If I'm rightly assuming, that's what you're looking for.

Edit: sorry I forgot to mention: select the "camera mode" (button at left side of replay's options) after pausing the replay. Then the famous 8 angles will be available.

You can’t do that unfortunately, also GTP compresses the images further I would imagine.

I feel your pain though I’ve been a designer for over 20 years now so definitely get it. Sadly the eco system doesn’t allow for it at least easily 😢

Edit: they might be better if you take them from the showcase web version if you log in to GT website??? Maybe?

This is my lap run, there’s a lot of time to be found here I think, but through the tunnel I seem to hit the wall but gain loads of time the hill, almost glitch like,

The racing has been lots of fun too, you need to ace 5 laps otherwise the gains are unreal, had some real sweaty moments with cars just gaining and gaining by until they tap the wall

Yes well said Gurzu, I capture straight from the in-game photo mode for my race photos. I guess some compresion happens when I do uplaod here due to filesize limits they may have for hosting, bandwith etc. Not 100% sure though, but they not always as sharp as can be.

But today was a good race at Catlunya so more juicy race photos hahaha!!!

Came 6th in the race with the trusty 911 RSR!

Gonna be honest I feel the driving ability and standards are exceptionally poor this week in A/A+ lobbies in B but….its the nature of close racing.

This is fine, what smarts a little is people pushing passed, sending you to the gravel and when you watch the replay back not only do they do that their dashboard is like a Christmas tree with the amount of assists helping to assist me off the track.

Just disappointing. After the update I don’t think there is a lot left in this game for me anymore

Im not sure when we were side by side it was my fault...saw you on the mirror spinning and I felt really sorry. So if was on me. Sorry.

Today I got a lot of people using my car to turn ,pushing me out... and..

Ok sweet, did you save this to "Showcase" or "Gallery", Showcase images look great but Gallery looks poor, very dark and colour casts. Given how dark your posted image is, i suspect it was from Gallery. It's like when someone saves a jpg as aRGB and wonders why it looks rubbish on browsers that can only read sRGB. Got a bit nerdy there sorry.

I play with my father, not in same lobby cause he is almost getting the B by now...but we do party together talking live about ours races.

And sometimes he has the same feeling of leaving the game...

But I want a different tomorrow for us that take this game serious..

I believe we'll get good enough to play with the top players/yt on A+ rank where the race spirit bond with max respect.

There is a place that low people cant get. For sure.
