Well I guess when ur not racing you can pilot the enterprise with that thing 😁
It’s really fun as someone who has the needed car, but for people who don’t they literally can’t do itSkill issue. It's one of the best race we had, open tuning, great handling car and japan aura.
Mate, use Race C to get the SR back! I have noticed loads of racers sitting at the back for this very reason 🤞🏻Lovely to get that firrst W under the belt for the week!!!! Plenty more to come I hope!!!!
Congrats on the W's that's a 50% B lobby there as well!!!!!! Shame no DR as you would have flown up!
Anyone doing race A? What's a competitive time in the B lobbies? I'm in two minds whether to jump in as gettig a bit stale now as I've hammered it and rage quit on first lap twice last after getting punted and then doing donuts trying to angrily get back on the track! This has hammered my DR and taken me down to a B SR![]()

You will get one Corolla for free in GT Cafe, and can get a second. It’s really fun as someone who has the needed car, but for people who don’t they literally can’t do it
Apparently these people would rather sell it because it's an "old Toyota" and "absolutely terrible" though. You will get one Corolla for free in GT Cafe, and can get a second.
There's also a free Sprinter for completing the free My First Gran Turismo demo, which takes 60 minutes if you're not terrible.
Make it so!Well I guess when ur not racing you can pilot the enterprise with that thing 😁

I dont blame them.Back to 3x BoP on so I'll be taking my leave. Fun week. Shame they don't have the confidence to keep it going.
Unfortunately. I don't think the game deserves the playerbase it has. Genuinely think Sport did a ton of damage to the online community. A lot of faceless numbers about now that only show up for the bare minimum.I dont blame them.
They seem to offer what people want and participation numbers didnt validate this experiment.
11k players set a time at Tsukuba so far against 67k from last week in Yas Marina
Go slow Joe and sit and watch and earn SR.I think I might have to.
Just did a race started in P2, got pushed to pass by P3 and dive bombed by P4 and then raced on my own the rest of it and lost SR 😂😂😂
I think it’s more nuanced than that though.Unfortunately. I don't think the game deserves the playerbase it has. Genuinely think Sport did a ton of damage to the online community. A lot of faceless numbers about now that only show up for the bare minimum.
Player engagement =/= community in this sense I'd argue. Look at the old GT5/6 forums - there was a lot more interaction with that side of the game, more people willing to build tunes and engage with stuff like this (like @padrome did sharing his tune).I think it’s more nuanced than that though.
Accessible racing has to be consistent and bounded and the game PD is playing is volume. So it’s easy to armchair opine but that’s not the real end game for them.
I think personally that more diversity in racing would be good, but I’m also pragmatic in that what they want is a health ecosystem not high fluctuation weeks or races.
And let’s be completely honest month on month the numbers are stable or slightly growing, so racing diversity yes I agree, but the cold hard player engagement speaks to something different and it slants to their favour more than our individual wants.
I will opine I do love Race C. Honestly the sort of race I hoped we’d have often when GT7 released and we were supposed have a more ‘traditional’ GT experience.
Some of my fondest memories were these guys that used to run a 1 lap dash of the Nordschleife on GT6 open lobbies ever night. It was a 650pp cap, run what you brung. I sunk so much time in trying out different cars and tunes.
I do appreciate the balance and competition that’s arisen from the Sport/Group/BoP concept - what we have is honestly lightning in a bottle for a console sim. However, there’s honestly only so much I can take of Interlagos/Spa Gr3 with the same cars filling the leaderboard.
Would be great if the Slot A race was open tuning week in, week out. After having completed SP and the power pack being preset cars, would be great to have a space to try different cars and tunes.
Also pretty sure both cars are available in the UCD.You will get one Corolla for free in GT Cafe, and can get a second.

Has anyone else had lots of game bugs lately? Or is it just me?
I’ve been disconnected from several dailies as the lobby was loading this week. Picture attached.
When I try and save replays, the game freezes sometimes. And when the replays save, the screen is black in the Showcase pavillion, and the replay will disconnect if you try and click ahead a lap (very strange).
And now the game won’t load.
I’ve checked my connection and it’s fine.
There is a PS5 firmware being rolled out gradually, I had the same replay saving crash and then when I updated the firmware it fixed it.Has anyone else had lots of game bugs lately? Or is it just me?

The player count for the grouped BoP events is higher because that's the crowd PD has fostered with 8 consistent years of running the same thing. Of course they're going to lash out if that formula changes, as we've seen this week with prominent streamers making inflammatory garbage statements that PD have "messed up" with Race C.I think it’s more nuanced than that though.

I think this is what tonight is going to be 😂😂
I’m down at SR C and I genuinely can’t see how, bumped the back of a car that over slowed in T2 and got shunted by someone a few turns later and 2 people pushed to pass me and I lose SR 😂
Just bought the Toyota in prep for this eve! Well I hope I’ve bought the right one 😂
I tuned up a trueno today and had a couple of races to see what the fuss is all about, I have to say, wasn’t too impressed, pole sitter was an AS driver with a low 58 who won by 20 secs each race, doesn’t sound like fun.
Rest of the lobby was a mix between a couple of me BS and rest C&D so I took second with third 10 secs away from me, boring as and took me 200k to do the car.
If there’s a bunch of ppl who love tuning, then didn’t stay out for long
Here's a tutorial for my best lap and tune so far for Race C that's currently 27th Worldwide. I'm using automatic transportation and a controller so I don't know if the tune will work for a wheel but I think it's as good as I can get for me.
Use all of the aero parts and roll bars, wide offset and rims with max rim height. It took me over a thousand miles to get a decent lap so don't feel bad if you're not immediately faster.
