We weren't really in the same race though were we 😂

The two races I did with you and @benjoi84 took me to about 1 pixel from the bottom of B, so the next two races put me in another lobby, started and finished P2 in that one.

Can't be many people doing this race - very mixed DRs in each race.....

Also if I’m being fair I need ZERO help to send my emotions absolutely all over the with this game!

I’m sure if someone came and watched me I’d get diagnosed with bi-polar and anger issues 😂

My wife actually came into the cave last night and said she could hear me screaming and swearing at someone and wanted to see what was wrong. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

What I found fairly amusing though was that South African guy calling you out as a dirty driver 🤣

He did have a lot to say and I was tempted to tell him to shut his hole (he was far enough back😁) but nonetheless it’s always good to see you in race mate

I know I know, but my racing and pace takes me to where I am.

I was just legitimately moaning, I’ll maybe post the videos or just get some better races tomorrow:

What I have woken up to is that people aren’t good at avoiding contact or braking well, if we ignore the griefer the amount of people that hit me or over/out braked themselves was horrendous and funny.

It shows a lack of control and using the brakes just all or nothing, and that’s a skill issue not a game or someone braking issue.

I’m quite annoyed with the standards across the board if I’m being honest.

“A lobbies are to fast” no that the new pace threshold.

“B lobbies are rubbish till I’m winning them” then you move up, but top of B is not top of A/A+ pace

Pace is gated I don’t like the system either but that’s how it works. You can’t win them all and brining it home is the point until you get more pace

Dude, I know when you got it bad, it’s a pain but just saying here, when I started this gt7 journey you were always there, offering advice, pushing us all on, being pragmatic. I was 4-5 secs from the best times back then,

My journey bro is your journey, thanks for the help and keep keeping us going, not sure who can keep you going, you must have a heluva wife 👊

Yes, he called somebody dirty in every race he was in! He was in a lobby yesterday, but I can't remember what I did, or if I did something to upset him. Unlikely, as I got the clean race bonus in every race yesterday and today!

He was courting trouble every race today, weaving and blocking, pushing peoole into the wall - couldn't race clean to save his life 🤣

Been in a couple of races this week with the guy that @benjoi84 had the problem with - don't know why he's always so dirty as he's really fast 🤷‍♂️

Mate as I said before, I love being part of a place where you guys are all nailing it, my frustrations are mine (and the wife’s, but to be fair she doesn’t take any crap so I vent here)

Thank you, I’m just really annoyed that the standards recently have been high and now it’s been pretty poor last day or so. I’ll live and it’s fine I’m just less inclined to engage or bother.

But you guys are smashing it and that’s the main thing, seriously watching you all progress is why I always offered the opinion

You’re advice and support and also everyone else on here has been incredible for a newbie like myself and has really enhanced GT7 for me.

If it’s any consolation I was genuinely ready to jack it all in on Tuesday after a disastrous night of 6 or 7 dirty lobbies back to back two days in a row! Even to the point I got a quote on a gaming PC to move over to iracing. But now I’m on cloud 9 after 2 or 3 great evenings with close fun racing. But you don’t need me to tell you how fickle the game is 😬

I do love hearing your experiences of the top split as it gives us all something to aim for!!!!

Oh wow, I’ve gotten into a really bad habit of arguing with dirty drivers in the lobby and to be honest it’s an exercise in futility, but I’ve deffo called them worse than dirty and not had any bans. Although I’ve made a resolution not to argue now, it just makes it worse for next time you see them is what I’ve learned. And I’m a middle aged father of two so shouldn’t really be arguing on the internet with strangers at my big old age 😂

Don’t do it mate, it’s not worth the added stress of the argument, just exit and move onto the next race. I say this from a position of having howlers of arguments in the lobbies since I started 😂😂


On a plus note I am officially a mid ranked B. Driver 😬😬😬 and I’ve got my S back and oh my goodness the joy of being back with S drivers, had a race before bed and the guy in 4th just had the inside line but would have sent me wide if he took it but he backed out and gave up on the pass. Having been pushed to pass at least 15 times this week seeing that made me all warm and fuzzy inside 😂

Think I’m done with racing this week for the most part, going to focus on completing the menu books to unlock all the circuit experience as I think this is really going to help me shave off those extra tenths I need to improve.

Enjoy the rest of your evenings racing if you are, I’m off to bed

I try so hard not to most of the time, but sometimes it's just too easy to call someone a clown, or a fool, or a t___

It's annoying that Playstation are so strict with moderation when it comes to words, not all cultures are so easily offended, or look at the impact of words the same.

They have so many ways to report people for offensive things, but 0 ways to report people for cheating, dirty driving, ruining races etc. Getting target punted in a race is more annoying than anything a person could say tbh.

It is what it is, just modern gaming I guess

Not say anything, move on and do the next race. They won’t say anything back useful so don’t invite the “report” they can do on your message.

Rinse repeat and move on, go faster not more vocal mate. Trust me.

I meant the bit about reporting them - I never post, or respond to comments before or after races, unless it's to say hello or reply to friends.

Race A resorts to its usual way this morning, tried passing this guy who puts me in the wall and managed to catch back up by the last lap, does it again, I guess I’m finished with that one now, and B isn’t much better I have to say 🤨

So annoying to have a rubbish day after what sounded like a great eve of racing last night!

I struggled with race B start of the week but once I got comfortable with it and where the typical dive bomb places were I’ve just gone wider or eased off and let people go and still finished nicely and less stress!

QQ guys - just doing the menu books and just done 20 Asian cup where Bathurst that goes from day to night which was amazing aesthetically, so we ever get a daily that does that at Bathurst?
 
@bone_tone My lucky charm at work again today 😁 thanks!, had a few better race As this arvo, grabbed a win where it came down to one moment, approaching last lap and pole guy scraped the wall enough so I could get a run down the hill turn 2, good sport too let me pass and was pretty close at the end.

Race B, pff now that’s rough so I’ll be avoiding it as I haven’t a week racing it, brutal at AS racing for the wooden spoon

It’s great how folk are teaming up in race A to get the dirty drivers, at that point actually no one cares who wins as long as the dirty side swiper doesn’t, it’s a shame really as there is some great racing to be had and the margins are so fine that I’d agree here people can’t get away with driving like that!

If I don’t get twatted or rear ended I’m pretty good at running very close to my qually pace the problem usually is people can’t be consistent so they think my markers are their markers but I like to ride the brakes or coast more.

But honestly, and this is me being honest is they think about the place not the exits and that slows them down because they would rather be .3 closer or side by side yet fluff the next sequence. It’s reactive driving vs my way of thinking of what’s the best exit.

That race quoted though the p1 and p2 took each other out accidentally I just days of thunder through the carnage

It's funny isn't it? I got turned off from this afternoon racing. The guy you mentioned could've had a good battle with me for 1st earlier on but they blocked me before we had the chance.

I'm not sure if it's that each room brings it's own 'energy', or whether there's residual anger from previous encounters with other people, maybe it's even stereotyping due to national flags. All I know is that, in my case, we didn't have a good race and clearly the lobbies were a poisoned well by this point.

Well I only managed a solitary win today mate, was salty before that but ended up in the right room, just starting 4-7 which is not bringing anything, but agreed some strange happening out there. At this point i am needing some Watkins Glen already
