I absolutely loved this Tokyo track when it was a race C a while back. I'm always a little afraid to try a race B because of desperate drivers that fight for every corner.

That being said.. This was also the experience in my only race C yesterday. People barging through and taking each other out. I don't know why but I'm too hot-headed for this kind of behavior and many times I end up rage/disappoint quiting after I've been spun around several times. I can hold my own in B lobbies (at least in sub 20.000 DR B points lobbies) but I never seem to get out of them because this many quitting hits my DR stats hard of course. I just don't like driving on my own 10 seconds behind everyone after being punted. Then I'll go do something else with my day. Of course, today is a new day so I probably will have a go again. Not every race is bad. :D

I try to treat them as practice laps when I get taken out but I know what you mean I’m not happy. And Race c is particularly bad this week. PD should start handing out 1 min penalties. The punters were getting 3 seconds. With that system the victim is punished harder cause the punter makes the corner.

Am really digging Race C in (my) antimeta cars. I started racing here with the C7 as it's a powerful machine with good acceleration. Would get a little twitchy in the slow turns but that's fine. When I shifted to the AMG, it was even more fun, stable & fast. In my race where I finished (in the SLS AMG) behind a Mate in the GT by Citroen, I kept bumpdrafting him in the starting laps to create a gap to the ones behind me who were fighting it out from lap 1. That's why such a big gap to third place. I was happy with second as I kept bumpdrafting him till the finish line. Didn't want to make a move which could hurt our races. Plus, he's a clean driver & a fast one too so I was always there to bumpdraft & help both of ourselves in the bargain!

S2 is such a thrill to drive through. The Mate was quicker in S2 in his GT by Citroen whereas I was quicker in S1 & S3 in the SLS AMG.

That's smart of course. I only quit if I get taken out 2 or 3 times in the same race and are a long way behind. If it's only 1 incident, or if I have the feeling I can maybe gain back some places because it is still very early in the race then I also continue driving.

Nice to see you out there @brockie albeit the back of your car as we cross the finish line 😎

Been some fun racing this morning, think I’m going to have to move over to C at some point as it’s just stressful round Tokyo 😂 but I’m being lazy and just can’t be bothered to learn a new track!

Just ordered my new rig this morning so will be sitting by the window for waiting for the delivery man for the next two weeks!

Rather than rage quit & suffer a huge DR hit just pit and don’t action any tyre change. You will then at least finish the race. ✌️🤠

I never quit if I get hit & am last. Unless I'll keep losing time to the rest of the pack because of them being in each other's slipstream.

P.S. - I'll race as long as I feel it's practical to do so. If I quit it's only if I'm more than 1 minute away from the leader. So by quitting at least all of them don't have to wait up to 1:30mins for me to cross the line. I rather quit so they're free to enter a new race in the timespan which could've been spent in waiting for me to hit the chequered flag.

I also do this. But sometimes I just want to play another PS5 game directly. Then I just quit abruptly and start up Baldur's Gate 3 for example.

My lobbies for Race A have been amazing since I upped my quali pace a little.

Starting around 6th has me usually leading the "rest of the pack" whilst the really quick handful race off into the distance. A couple of races I found myself alongside @ImbaSteckdose yesterday, and some really good side by side battling was shown. Everyone has been mostly clean, even if the hair trigger temper has come out from some participants on the odd occasion.

The manoeuvrability of the Alpine suits the venue extremely well, with SM tyres, all in all it's a dream to play and very addictive.
