Oueeeef that is atrocious stuff, absolutely horrible, all we needs is Montreal to complete the set of crappiness.
Stop sitting on the fence, tell us what you really think 😂😂😂

Agreed it’s Underwhelming. Only saving grace for me is they are all tracks I know really well so won’t take much time/effort to get up to speed.

Think Lago reverse and Yas might actually be two of my most raced circuits next to RBR.

Yas is a mess, just undrivable for me, feel so forced. LM is a wonderful, wonderful track that should never be run backwards, it's terrible, all the apex close rather than open on exit, horrible. Daytona road feel what it is, a forced implementation of gimmicky track because it's constrained by the, i dunno, massive proper race track around it.

I'm surprised @NevilleNobody even dislikes Daytona? My main issue with Races A or B is the duration of the race (I know 20 minutes a new race starts). I like a long race that would have some strategy involved (that's where Race C fits well).

Daytona is horrible. Wait, actual Daytona the oval is brilliant but the road course feels mickey mouse. The transition on and off the oval is bleh and the bus stop basically dictates your lap. The two right handers in the fiddly bits feel like ice on exit. Zero enjoyment.

New Dailies are out.

A - Daytona Road Course - SH
B - Lago Maggiore - Reverse - RM
C - Yas Marina - RM/RS

Hopefully Yas is set at night as the last race B was during the day and it's just a bit drab
Might be time to dust off the Taylor Swift and give the Minions an outing if Race B suits the criteria 🥳🥳💪🏻🤠

Absurd race at A earlier, where I switched from the RE Amemiya to the more wub-wub Mazda for a little fresh air, got three French guys also in the Mazda, and our bumpdraft chain just pulled clear of the pack. We were three seconds ahead by the first turn :|

C is a dupe of one we had in Feb which was Gr.3 so B will 99% be Gr.4.
Okay. Thanks. Though I personally find it disappointing because I usually like it better when Race B is for Group 3 cars. I honestly find Group 4 cars slow and boring and I usually have trouble in races for slow cars.

Mate shouldn't it be the other way around? Gr.3 no doubt as a group of faster cars give more thrill so wouldn't Race C be a more fitting location for them than Race B which is shorter?

I love Gr.4 too but the right tracks have to be paired along then it's worth.

Hypothetical wish of mine but when on coming Thursday we get the big update, hope in the week there after we get to race with Caterham.

Thanks, but many races for Race C have been disappointing me lately, even when they're for Group 3 cars.

Honestly yesterday was a good time trial day but a bad daily race B day at Fuji. So much argy bargy going on with one particular german man child of a driver disrupting everyone's race. The methods he used were simply aweful, divebombing, barging pass on corners, hogging the main straight by swerving dangerously, brake checking and more.

If this was a real race which its not, he wud face a severe racing ban. Then this said driver decides to report me despite me not swearing or being rude in my post race chat or sayin anything bad. I just said to him you need stop bumpin people it is bad, really bad to which he proclaims "reported", I think ok wtf.

He is also the one on Lap 5 who did a brake check on me harshly to gain an unfair advantage (which I recorded in my replay), no penalty whatsoever, the game is not coded to recognise this as a penalty which is tremendously flawed. I end up losing precious seconds (almost 3secs) and then he poofs off to get an easy finish on the final lap. Then you lose composure and get hit by track limits penalties galore. He will be highlighted on my YT channel later today so guys please avoid this guy. He really is a bad egg.

The best I could achieve yesterday was 9th in my few races but this race is killing my DR lol. I feel the Porsche is too skittish and the Audi works but needs more practice runtime, so I ended up turning to my old pace chaser of a steed, the Jag F-Type.

I gave Daily Race C a shot and it was kind slow but fun, more precision driving around Grand valley if anything, a solid 8th place is not bad in the NSX gr.4!!! It did help bump my SR up again.

The NSX is one of the antimeta cars. But the domination of the Gt by Citroen's superior tyre wear & acceleration + top end speed literally crushes all other Gr.4 cars. This is the story of every Gr.4 event though as we usually get the same meta cars week in week out (even with Gr.3).

But great going Mate with the NSX.

It's great how Citroën went from being an underdog in the Manufacturers Cups to doing pretty good lately. They almost made it to the live events this year and they might actually make it next year.

I have hit the wall. Not good enough to stay in DR B. Best I could accomplish at Fuji was 1:40.823 which relegated me to the back of the pack regularly, best start being 12 of 16.

Races have suffered one calamity after another. My last race in B I got clobbered before the back straight leading to engine damage. Other races I made my own mistakes bumping cars in the back on braking or when they turn into my path. Then I will overcook it trying to catch up leading to spins and more lost lap time.

At least I can score wins in DR C which I did again this morning from P5 to P1. But ultimately the thrill is gone. Guess I’ll work on my craft in TT or circuit experience.

It helped me to improve was to focus on my QT consistency not just a random hero lap, but running a session where the time is stable, and improvements become targeted to specific corners or sectors.

Once you get consistency you’ll typically improve some aspects of the racing because you mentally aren’t working as hard to maintain pace, this frees up your mind to anticipate more, build a better mental picture of the race around you.

I second what @newmedia_dev says about working on consistency in QT.

I struggled staying in A and would bounce up and down between A and B, sounds like you have the similar issue to me where you are too fast for C and the thrill is gone for winning races there? Good news is it will only take 3 or 4 races to bounce you back to B if you're finishing top 3.

A couple of things that helped me were keeping track of your lap times in a race to see if you're consistent (crashes/traffic aside) hitting consistent race laps time and time again is key to good results.

Secondly and this was advice that Glenn is big on and took a while to sink in for me, forget about DR and ranking, just race the race you are in at that time. Lap 1 crash? Just race the guys around you for P12. It's all about developing the race craft and you're only going to do that in races without the stress of DR gain/loss. Don't overly push to make up for a mistake, consistent laps beat 3 hot laps and a mistake every time.

Finished a race in the 1st slot of the new Race C. Overall, it's fun but would've been way better had it been a night race. Those amazing visuals of a lit up Yas Marina track just got ignored to give us a day race.

I went in a non meta car. Started 8th, finished 6th which is a decent result for first race. Will try LM reverse too just because I love Gr.4 & LM in reverse even.
