GT7 downloaded to my PS5

98GB. Also downloaded the music 438MB. Another 6 days before I can launch it :banghead:

Mate, im in the UK and downloaded it this morning. I had to select the game in my purchases to download as it wasnt automatic

Same here. Had to download it manually on my PS5 and the PS4. No automatic for me either.
 
Here in Eastern Canada download is available since Feb 25th at midnight, local time.

On my 50 Mb Internet, download is 33% after 6 hours, with an estimated 12 hours remaining.

Download size on my PS4 is 101.892 gigs.
 
Major question...
I pre-ordered/purchased the 25th anniversary deluxe edition for GT7, I am on a PS4 because I cannot afford a PS5 at this time, I have just started the pre-download of this and I see the countdown clock of 5 days and hours(?).
What I do not see is that the icon or other identifying information stating it is the 25th Anniversary Edition. (See picture below)

Is this the correct icon for the PS4 platform? Or have I been screwed by PS, I checked the store and it says I have pre-ordered the 25th anniversary edition...

Looking forward to that countdown clock at zeroes across the line...

When I download GT7 I got the same as you but I am on a PS5, and I brought the 25th Anniversary digital deluxe edition. So it is correct icon my friend.

Another question, I have a second account (like others) and in my home screen the GT7 icon has a LOCK , and when I click on it, it gives me a screen that says " cannot use the content. To use the content, purchase it from PlayStation Store".

Now I only had one account when I bought GT Sport and had added the one well before I purchased GT7 and now I fear I will have to pay to use alternate account?

This is not looking good...

If you are on PS4 then make sure it is set as your primary PS4 using the account you purchased from. Once you do that you will be able to use GT7 on all your accounts on that primary PS4.

Both my accounts have my one PS4 as the primary, I purchased it on my 1st account, I had also purchased other games same way (8 months prior) I can play those games on 2nd account but still has lock on GT7 and still get the "go to PS store" message.

Unless the alt account will be active when it launches?

Please help anyone?

Same for me on my ps4 and ps5,i bought the 25th edition too.No sign of bonus content on the ps5 version but extras show up under addons on my pro.I can change my avatar to one of the GT7 ones. 👍

I didn't think you could have 2 accounts as primary on one PS4. I still think you should log in with the account you purchased GT7 and PS Plus with and then set that account as primary. All other accounts on that PS4 should be able to play any game on that console including using online gameplay. If you have a second PS4 in the house then only the account that purchased GT7 will be able to play it on that console. Any other account on the secondary console will have the lock icon.

Update:. I see what you are talking about. My son has my primary PS4 in his room and I use the secondary in the living room. I just started the download on my primary and when we log into his account it has the pad lock. So I will assume that this is because it is not released yet. I would assume that it will work normally once it is playable. On my PS5 it does not have this issue. I hope this is the case since he wants to try it out too. We will have to wait and see after launch.

PS5 uses compression tech to keep the file sizes down as much as possible, so given it's 98GB it's probably around 140-150 GB if the same was loaded onto PS4

When I downloaded GT7 the other day on my PS5 it was around 96GB I think, and that 10.7GB is not right. Go in your storage settings on your PS5, and see how many GB was GT7.

Update : I left the PS5 in standby downloading, I’ve since returned to find that it has downloaded a 96.8GB file and it’s locked for 4 days so I’m happy I have the full game. Can’t wait for Friday 👌

Newbie-ish Q, been a few years since I’ve played GT but I’m excited to fire this up at the end of the week.

I preorder the regular edition and it’s already download onto my PS5. Is there anything extra I need to do once the game goes live for me to get the extra credits and the other pre-order goodies? Thx!

When the game comes out that lock will dissappear.
