Small improvement, at least into the 1:59s. The final sector is very tricky, so many things can go wrong. I think as low as a .7 is possible, as I lost a bit in S1 and around a tenth in each of the final two sectors.

Congratulations, amazing time!
Do you sometimes film your hands(wheel) and maybe even footwork and compose it in video together with replay? I would love to see it if you post it somewhere?
Thanks.

Did you try going faster through there? I guess you could gain some time that way :D

But you should^^
@ADAM18

I've made a few videos like that, I'll endeavour to make some more. But not for this combo though, never gonna lap Yas Marinara again, extremely hateful track limits.
I am always too mad to remember to go back and look, but I swear I was still on the track with my inside tires.

If, in bumper cam, my vehicle is able to hit a bollard off the screen, then that tells me if I can see the white line on-screen, my inside tires are still on the track.

Got the Fezza down to a mid 4, do I bother chasing gold? I am still learning the track so a in theory a second r so is doable you'd think. I actually don't mind the car at all, find it pretty good to drive, but what a god awful race track, they can't even get a straight right as the right side vanishes.

Yeah this is a really wonky track. On the straight after the first hairpin, for no reason at all, the tracklimits move to the left all of a sudden. Idk what they were thinking, if anything. Like they were unable to paint a straight line.

I think it is also very lazy that after all these years they still haven't fixed the tracklimits. All you need is some sand at the exit of corners like they have in Qatar:

Yas Marina probably has an eye watering budget but they just can't be bothered to fix the actual track. It is kind of a waste of resources that PD recreated this glorified parking lot in GT7 imo. Literally anything else would have been better: Sepang, Estoril, Buenos Aires, anything.

This is all just my opinion of course, which at the end of the day doesn't really matter.

On another track you'd probably call it a quirk.

I did my first 10 laps at Yas Marina yesterday.
ONE valid lap... 2:04.472... 1s of gold.. HOW?

This wil be a very frustrating one...

Good luck!🔥
I never raced on that track and on sunday decided to learn it. I did wtc 900 and 800 races on it, total 25 laps, than Circuit Experience and than took F50, did total of 579 km, and best valid lap I did was 2.03.390... if adam improves his time little bit more I'll make petition to ban him

Since the day one my goal was always to break into the freaking 2:00.xx” no matter what. It wasn’t an easy task because this is one of the toughest TT’s you can possibly ask for. Even if I don’t improve my PB on this track anymore I am absolutely happy with this one.
Thank you ADAM18 for your ghost guidance. You truly mastered this track and your driving skills are absolutely amazing.

The only thing worse than this track is how it was BEFORE they made a lot of changes a few years ago. Look at this abomination. Turns 5,6, 12 and 13 have now been removed, it was a total fiddlefest before about 2020 I think, just so, so, so bad.

Thanks, I hate it.

Nice to see this old Alfa get some time to shine, going to have to agree that unfortunately it was put on too grippy tyres (very evident in how it literally bounces once you lose control on the kerbs), some sports compound would’ve complemented it better but can’t always nail everything, I suppose. Ending on that lucky seven note.

Today managed to do another step to gold.

Now I'm in second with gold.

BTW, turned off race info because when I have good splits, my heart start to pumping dangerously fast and my hands start to shaking...
Yep, I have the exact same problem. When you know you're up, you push that little bit harder - only to make a mistake and be forced to do another lap. These sort of mind games are the most frustrating part about a time trial like this one.

Since it ends tomorrow night, I went back at the Alfa and...got my exact same time, with optimums in the high 2:11s to make me feel worse about myself. 186 miles all wasted.

What's better, I randomly (mostly) lost force feedback about halfway through. Not a clue what's up with that, so an even better night!

Very well done!, goal achievement ...check!
I tried some laps again this morning but have absolutely no focus at all, not feeling well at all and my head feels like the sausage curb at Maggiore....., so could not get anything done
And it depends on what we get thursday if i'm going back at all t.b.h.

Let's hope the new update Porsche....., and lets all manifest that it won't be the Yangwang U9 :lol:
Twingo on the nurb would be funny to
