I saw I’d been knocked down to silver at Sugo. I was dreading trying it again. Putting CSA to strong and TCS to 1 helped me get it together.

What helped the most was giving up on chasing the WR ghost and using that from @Manimal. That one was closer to my driving style and ability to keep up. Thanks man.

I definitely found TC on 1 to help here, since it really only seemed to activate when I'd want to not be quite at WOT anyway, and cut the throttle usually by the amount I'd want - particularly beneficial in the chicane.

Fanatec and Polyphony Digital have teamed up on a new global time trial event in Gran Turismo 7, and the prizes are real hardware rather than in-game credits.

Funny Traxion's article mentions being able to win the special livery whereas the official Gran Turismo article does not. Possibly an assumption made by Traxion? Or maybe GT forgot to mention it and just focused on the Fanatec prizes?

So after a while of missing out on the newer TT's in-game I tried the Hyundai one at Catalunya and did pretty much ok! Chasing a ghost is pretty easy on this track with no chicane, just doing the correct transitions takes a little time. Always looking to improve my times!

This morning SUGO became probably the most intense OTT until now - thanks to Viper, and then, out from this world, Lee, who immediately lowered by full tenth!
From where?

But yesterday I become friend with our dear @Manimal and decided to watch his replay.
I downloaded it and he became my mentor - times quickly started to go down, until I set probably safe gold time!
And with TERRIBLE last corner, where he flew away...

I had a close fight, catching on him on some braking zones, but then I had very bad exit to long wood straight, and I terrible last corner...

It was an interesting experience with the Xiaomi around Sugo and it really tested me in trying to keep the car on the track especially when going through the chicane.

Originally a 1:18.928 but when the leader improved his time I really had to make sure the next improvement has enough cushion for me to stay on the gold threshold and I'm on the 1:18.649 so I should be safe.

Barcelona + Elantra TCR: I believe Polyphony prepared a goodbye for the Elantra after BoP update breaks the hegemony during some weeks. All these weeks I avoided to use Elantra as it`s too much overpowered. Now, driving it in this TT, I could feel how good the car is, even in this current BoP. By far the easier gold to get in a normal TT (traditional long track + car), and easy to improve lap by lap. The only curve I felt difficult to repeat consistently good is the 7-8 th and T0.

Drove dozens and dozens of 1:50.43x’s and 1:50.45x’s laps. The optimal times were showing 1:50.35x’s but it just didn’t happen. A little frustrating, yes, happy with this time, hell yeah. It’s time to move on.
