Hi!

Im Back Arnold Schwarzenegger GIF

I didn't like most of the last TTs, including the rally and the Chaparral but i can see the attraction for some of you.

The NSX at Interlagos on the other hand feels nice to me. Only did 3 laps today but it looks halfway promising. No assists but ABS weak.

@Lomic
Manual. Way to go! Did that step one or two years ago and never looked back.

I just don't look as cool as Clarkson as I'm still on controller.

Fun challenge, did some nokia laps 😂
Very controllable car and nice to yeet around!
Bankerlap is in, now I have to give the Chaperal some love, cause I totally ignored her 😂😂
Eh, I don't find this nsx that controllable, the point where it decides to oversteer is not clear to me. I have to say the car is easily catchable in those situations, but the lap time can't be good then ^^

Anyway, I managed a decent time, so i can't complain.

Howdy y'all! Long time, no talk. I've been playing GT very sparingly lately. Still doing TT's, but not all of them and only two or three sessions for the ones I do. Because of that, I haven't been on this thread in quite a while. Not to mention the fact my computer is on its last legs and Chrome seizes up whenever I try to download attachments from my email. :boggled: Makes it hard to upload stuff here.

Anyway, after topping out in the 300's or worse in the TT's over the last few months, I finally may have a chance at a top 100 with this one. I can go faster, as I lost a bit of time in sector 2 on my fast lap. Such a fun combo! :D

I had that thoughts the first few laps too to be honest, but i think i was overdriving the thing, once i turned the agression down a bit it actually went very drivable, it's kind of slow in terms of snapping, so it bites you in the a*s..... but slower
but 1.52% on your first run isn't to shabbyy at all :)

well that's an entrance..
Hi ... i'm back.... 40th :lol::lol:

Nice job buddy, good to see you crushing my dreams again

I didn't do a first TV session on the NSX... i had to Chaperal again but i like Interlagos far more, so i think i call it on Watkins with a .5xx ( a top 100 isn't going to happen for me here ) fun drive but not a two week hammer-time for me.

I'll invest the rest of my time in the NSX, there the Colorado Springs gives me major frustration :lol::lol:

I think everything under 1:49.5 is safe gold for NSX, I don't see anyone shaving of half second from Tapai time... Also Serrano holds pretty long with Chapy, maybe that one will stay too but not that likely

Well, Serrano is an "okay" driver, so there is that ^_^

BTW, does anyone know what the number means at the right of the lap time on dg-edge.com ? I'm talking about this pink number here :

Gomario, you are very funny and always crack me up 🤣 I look forward to your comments on a regular basis.

Good job everyone on your fast times all around! I dedicated a few days to the chaparral at Watkins Glen - such a lovely ride. My goal was to get as close as possible to 28s. Current at 29.4xx and I think that's it for me. I did have an optimal of 29.3xx but frankly I'm happy with my time. Can't wait to try the nsx in my home country!

@snc asked a question about how many times Interlagos has been used. I thought I'd share the overall track usage with everyone.

All tracks and layout have been used at least once ?

Not really, no. Example this is first time we have colorado springs and we now have it in reverse, and it is rally. There are few other rally tracks and we never used them before.
I know but Half's graph only shows track with at least one appearance, hence my question.

All tracks and layout have been used at least once ?
No, 47 layouts have not been used. Here is the full list of all tracks and layouts, and how many times each has been used.

Not the throttle. It only assists in catching oversteer by counter-steering a bit for you.
Ok thanks, this triggers next question

Speaking of the Brazilian tt

15 laps with no assist: 103.4%
Another 5 laps with csa strong : 102.8%

Csa never gave me an important feedback (meaning something i was able to feel with my hands), but still the csa badge is quickly blinking red quite frequently. Blinking, not staying red longer.

So, my thoughts
1) i will never be able to microcorrect at such rate
2) is it just mental, knowing that i have that assist i drive a bit more aggressively, and I may be able to sustain the same time with no assist
3) frequent automatic microcorrection may be replaced by less frequent more important (but still not big) human correction. Need probably to learn to do them
4) a mix of 2 an 3

?

It's not just mental, it definitely limits oversteer. I think 3 is probably accurate.

Don't overthink and worry too much about that. I watched Metalgears top lap and the CSA is blinking away there to. I don't use it at Interlagos right now but you can still be proud of your outcome.
