I had my first go Interlagos. This one I did differently. First attempt, no ghost, no reading any guides. Just me, the car and the track; just to see what I could do. It took a few goes, but I got to gold. Perhaps this is an easy one?

Then I loaded up the world record time and chased that. Took a chunk more time off. Still not a brilliant time but perfectly serviceable.

I currently have an injured right arm, and this hurt. So I probably shouldn’t be doing much of this over the next few days.

I once played GT Sport with a torn elbow tendon (tennis injury) that took 18 months to fully recover from.

If you can evaluate that you won't do any further damage to an injury by playing, then why not play?

Adam's is here.

Yeah I saw that indeed epic lap, looks so planted conpared to mine 😂, he already went faster though, maby that's why it's hidden, I get it.... but I don't like it 😂😂

@Barareklam ....whoop whoop you dirt(y) man, epic result! 🙏🙏🍾🍾

More like how fatigued I get with my arm on the steering wheel.

FYI I crashed into a tree at around 20 mph on my mountain bike. 🤣

Provisional WR lap. Still a bit of time left in the first and last sectors, but happy with the lap overall.

I look at this and I think, he’s doing basically the same thing as I’m doing. Shifts and line are mostly the same. Even when I follow the ghost, there are times when I’ve improved over his ghost (the first hairpin I often gain) but I still end up over 1-1/2 seconds back. I know where I lose my time though. The initial Senna S is a challenge to get the speed out the end (probably a 1/2 second there) and turn 10, Pico de Pato I lose like 1/2 second through to Junção.

Oh course he just does everything better and I am just a pleb, but it is amazing how fractions of a second add up over a lap.

Well, there you go... hoping that Serrano and his mates play something else, that should be enough...😂😂

I managed 30,795 but it seemed a bit tight... with 30,704, maybe it will be OK...

In any case, I did it and I'm happy... 325 km for that tonight...😂 When I tell you I have to drive a lot... 😂😂

Actually, since I only did about 150 km with the NSX, I'm going to go back to Brazil to see if I can scrape a little more off and who knows, maybe get from 1200 back down to under 1000... 🤔...

one can dream...😂

All of you’s with good times at Colorado, are you on the standard rims or aftermarket?
Alternating between an owned car with aftermarket and a rented car.

Maybe its just placebo but Im faster in the rented one with stock rims.

A few weeks ago there was a different event with the 2J and I put some stickers of Napalm Death on it and went for it. At that moment I could not have known how well it will fit...

After my third and probably last stint at the Glen I was reminded of their record "the Code is Red"...

The Sticker itself is from their classic album "fear, emptiness, despair" and when you take a look at my Optimum there is nothing left to add... 😂

I finally understood that by releasing the accelerator exactly after the first jump on the second bump, I can now make that smooth turn at the beginning of sector 2.

I think I need to keep my wheels straight as much as possible to maximize traction because right now I'm far behind the two best in my friends list Highlanderlast / half_sourly very far behind... well done guys in the top 20 🔥🔥🔥

Oh damn. I think I will come back to Colorado Springs and try one last time for gold on a rental. Totally forgot about those rim shenanigans. But it is probably skill issues anyways.

I always apply a livery I like and they often come with new tires. Is there a way to check the original tires including size and offset and such without buying the car again? Or could someone check and post the tire specs here? Then I could check wether my livery has changed them.

And does anybody remember what we had found out before? I think it was the Lake Louise TT where the rim impact was first discovered or widely discussed here.

I remember some people noticing a difference in Tsukuba with the Civic in the rain!

But in my opinion it doesn't change anything otherwise they wouldn't be talking about activated BOP.
