I'd rather they didn't change the physics at this point. Feels like a pendulum when they do as it goes from 1 extreme to the other and I'd be pretty happy with it just staying as it is now and they can adjust any cars which are to borky.

For a VGT it seems kinda fun though, and we can be very glad to not have bankybooyy with this thing 😂
I am definitely going to do some Nokia-Lenovo-laptop-supadupa-sliding fest this evening 😂.
Glad we also have righthanders this time 🥳

Oh you are right! I did not think about that, probably because I've been showered with Citroën invites since day one 😅 I guess some people will have to rent to partake.

It's not. The car predates VGT by half a decade, but could be suggested as the seed of the idea.

I'm sure that for a lot of people all manner of things are true, but the Citroen GT by Citroen was a one-off project that debuted in 2008, arriving in the (main) games in GT5 in 2010*. Vision GT first appeared in GT6 in 2013, starting with the Mercedes-AMG Vision GT.

As I said in the dependent clause in the second half of my sentence, it could be suggested as the seed of the VGT idea, but it is not a VGT car itself.

It also wasn't even the first car created by an external designer specifically for Gran Turismo - again, by about half a decade. Sadly the Nike ONE is no longer with us.

*In Prologue before that, of course; it was the Spec III cover car!
 
The results for TT174 at Suzuka Circuit in the SF23 Super Formula: Toyota '23 / Honda '23 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Don't like the car of this last TT from a look standpoint, it remainds me of a burrito.
Generally I don't like VGTs, and I understand it's not, but that's a shame, it misses an occasion to be a VeGeTarian Burrito

I hope it drives better than it looks :)
 
Holy moly that Citroën on these tires is a struggle, I like slidy roadcars..... but this is a bit to much imo 🙄😱
The S'es is a roulette for now.... rotated in 2nd, went 3th in.... up to 4th for the righthander and to 5th for the lefthander....
No traction at all 😂😂

a 24. Should be possible if I figure out this....french.. roadcar....thing....😂

This bloke, every week "omg that's brutal, no grip, all over the shop, really struggled" .... within 1%.
 
I was bummed to find out that I’d slipped out of gold and ended up with a silver at Suzuka. I haven’t been on the rig, as it still hurts too much with my injured shoulder, so hadn’t been giving it much attention. This is my first non-gold in a long time. Oh well.

First, limited go with the Citroen. Annoyingly this is one of only four cars I do not have as I have never received the Citroen ticket (in 18 months on this account). The Ferrari invite being the other 3 cars….

The Citroen is a bit of a handful and I had to stop because of family Thanksgiving needs and shoulder. Got an initial gold but this will plummet as people get on this.

Well hi guys! After about 9 months away from the game, I finally managed to invent a dedicated space in my room to bring back the rig from its deep sleep :D Put it all together yesterday, did some weekly challenges to tune everything and dial in the seating position, bass shaker settings etc. And last night I jumped in the latest TT just to give it a go

I told myself that this time I'm just going to enjoy the game, not compete like crazy, but I don't really think it will be possible, I just reminded myself what a thrill it is to chase the perfect lap :D Of course, this was very very far from perfect, just couple of bankers, so we'll see in the coming days how it's going to go :) Good to be back!

i was indeed surprised to see you pop up!...and... ....above me :mischievous:.....bad for my leaderboard! :lol:, your "bankerlap" while finetuning the rig and after 9 months of abscence...... was already faster this morning :lol::bowdown:
( but i made a gazillion seconds improvement with a . 176 :dunce::dunce::lol::lol: )
