I spent too much time on this. Ready for next one!

Like I said before, very very close to my limit. I think I could pull a .3xx, but at this point, it would be pure luck. I've had a few good runs that were throw in the trash in the last chicane 🤢

Whew, gonna wind up with a 1:31.211 (after dropping to a 1:31.505 last night) at Daytona. I had an invalid 1:31.1x and my theoretical best is a 1:30.9xx, so I'm happy with this!

No more will-it-or-won't-it bus stop for a bit. Nothing worse that botching that and invalidating your next lap. 😒
 
I found another tenth at CGV, good for P47 currently 👍 Getting better rotation through the second chicane found me the extra time.

I see more time if I can improve my speed through the final chicane, so I may try to keep going 🙂

Very good result there!, and def. no need to be afraid to place such results, once you get a little faster and participate on this thread you have to accept defeat sometimes .....lots of times :lol: :lol:

I didn't have much time this morning and the laps i did were terrible, S1 was a nightmare, felt like different tires this morning,
So had about waaaay to many bad laps....
Had one lap i was realy happy about, IF it wasn't for the wall i kissed on the exit of the last chicane....
Would have been a party right there :lol:

It realy depends on the next Yellow Mobile Battery thing if i'll go again, if that's awesom i maby leave it at this, but if that one s*cks ... imma try again :)

Yeah, does not feel like work though even though it was already the 4th (I think?) session at CGV. Really unusual for me. But it's just very rewarding. And at the same time frustrating since once again, the PB came in a lap with a 28.545 S1 split. I was actually on the verge of restarting 🤣 Most of my laps were below .5, and a good chunk well below .4. So, just to think what could have been ...

But anyway, I have achieved way more than I expected from this already, and with two new events fighting for attention, I doubt I will go back. That is, unless you complete one of these laps without kissing the chicane and force my hand ;)

Yeah i know the feeling, there is so much more possible in the lap, i realy think that all sectors nailed combined even a .0xx or .1xx is in the cards if i keep hammering it, but like you said, with this 2 new trials, and one with some serious tracklenght i doubt i'll go back too, place 41 is still top 100 in the end :) :lol:
And to be fair, i did try already quite hard, so i think you got me here mate, ;)

The results for TT185 at Daytona Road Course in the Gr.1 are over here. I have updated the opening post with the index of all TTs and the second post with the community scoreboards. A reminder that each driver's results for every TT are in the Excel file attached to the latest results post.

Sounds like the next GPT forum function to implement : add an "alien" filed to user profile, and allow to tag them all with @aliens 😁

Noone will abuse such function, right ? 😅

Plus it could make appear a small alien badge next to username 👽 (only for premium members of course 😈 )

Hard pass on the full ring, I cannot remember all the turns so am slow and don't care to run endless laps to learn the track. Bleh.

Driving the phone at Monza is alright. As long as you don't try to brake and turn at the same time. Coming from Forza '23 this seems to be one of the biggest physics differences.

I have to keep telling myself "get off the damn brakes!" 😆

When I get to the braking points, I instinctively shift down, nice track but boring car, I'm happy to have done 1,45,989 but I don't know if I'll want to go back there.
