Good that you got them back! You don’t use cockpit view? You can't even imagine how much I'd like to have full damage modelling just for those cases. I'd happily pay for a new car for myself if it meant I could witness in all its glory the explosion of carbon shards when plowing through the rear quarter without even a hint of braking. Having to settle for the current glued to the road physics where the AI car barely budges just doesn't give the same satisfaction as causing a wreck that looks more like an aircraft crash would.
But, I finally got it done today and then it was the first attempt of the day. I wasn't even going to use this car, a swapped XJ220 was the original plan, but it was perhaps too fast for the traffic and caused more problems than it solved. The extra picture at the end shows pretty well the lap time change after getting out of traffic... and before getting back to it again. One single clear lap in the entire race.

Missed opportunity to give it a pun. This is the discussion thread for an article on GTPlanet:
Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges Send Players to Alsace in a Renault Captur One-Make Race
It’s Friday again, which means a new set of Gran Turismo 7 Weekly Challenges has arrived...
Why that? I don't own that car (unfortunately), but from its specs it should do well in any WTC 800 event (detuned) or in WTC 900 events (with RM's), especially since it has DRS - unless its fuel efficiency is that bad.Every week I wait for an occasion to use the Volkswagen ID.R but now I realize this car is useless. There is absolutely no race in the game where you can use it (and win I mean).

Fuel consumption is enabled in all WTC 700, 800 and 900 races, the battery last like 2 laps. Why that? Then it's gonna get difficult indeed, since you probably won't be able to get PP much lower so that you could participate in lower class events, and it's also not in any Gr. class, not a VGT, and as an EV also not useable in custom races other than one-makesFuel consumption is enabled in all WTC 700, 800 and 900 races, the battery last like 2 laps.
All lower class events are for road cars only so it cannot enter. Maybe you can use it in rally races lolThen it's gonna get difficult indeed, since you probably won't be able to get PP much lower so that you could participate in lower class events, and it's also not in any Gr. class, not a VGT, and as an EV also not useable in custom races other than one-makes![]()
Have you tried that?Maybe you can use it in rally races lol
I also got the 908.Got a 908 HDi from the ticket. Just put RS on the Jimny and Captur. Set the Impreza to 404bhp and RH like the Rally Car in Gran Turismo 1. RS on the Viper. If I had the JGTC Supra I would have used that to act as a car from the first Gran Turismo for my theme.
