Enjoyable Week! Nothing too taxing. After choosing my first challenger, I decided to make a 'Golden Oldie' selection...
Sunday Cup Classic: 1952 Abarth 1500 - Comfort Soft Tyres and racing Aspiration were the only upgrades. Handled beautifully through the Corkscrew.
Japanese FR Challenge 450: 1971 Nissan 240Z - Comfort Soft tyres, fully race spec'd except no weight reductions. Fun race in a great car.
American Clubman Cup 700: 1966 Ford GT - Race Hard Tyres '67 Lemans(ish) build. This thing is a beast! Destroyed the field!
YangWang Special: SS Tyres, WR 1,2 & 3 (so it doesn't weigh as much as a Rhino) Race brakes. Uneventful race, but better than many other EV's.
WTC 900: 1970 Chaparral 2J - Racing Medium Tyres, Custom Race 5sp Gearbox. FM 6 all the way, 1 stop at end of Lap 7. Fun race, enjoyed using something different, that I've never raced with before.
My ‘Pic of the Week’ goes to the Abarth at Leguna Seca
