Just had quite a brilliant road trip, you guys need to join me on your next one using your car of choice, should be great fun. The goal was to leave my home in North Los Santos and drive through the night to the top of Mount Chilliad. The pictures don't document a lot about the trip, but it sure was fun :lol:

Left the apartment in the evening:

Started to drive towards the Vinewood hills, lots of nice cars around there, and some brilliant mountain roads, car took them well:

I seriously pressed on here, driving over the hills and down into the small towns near Fort Zancudo. It was a hell of a lot quieter than in the city. Was getting dark too, the beautiful curves of this thing just sliced through the night. Eventually I pulled up outside Ammunation to collect some sticky bombs for later.

Headed down to Sandy Shores, encountered numerous drunks and The Lost members, also stopped at a store along the way to purchase a drink from a vending machine, amazing right? Anyways, I landed myself at the bottom of mount Chilliad, awaiting the night clime:

Los Santos way in the background, quite a climb, you could look down and there would be no end, no safety measures either, had to be careful:

The final climb up the steepest part of the mountain, had numerous problems getting the thing up, had to strafe left to right for most of it, would burn the clutch out in real life:

I like how the Sabre Turbos spawn alot online. I have a black/yellow one myself.

Did you buy these cars or found them? I haven't invested a lot of time in finding cars online yet. I'm also a bit confused about the online cars, when I hop in one (a random car) it's soooo slow :ouch: What is up with that?

My first car, a Zion I think (looks like the M6), is destroyed. I could call the insurance company to claim a new one but I thought I'll do that later when I've bought my garage. After I went offline I started playing a day later again, but I couldn't call the insurance company anymore. Maybe a bug or do you have to claim them in the same session you lost it?

I love your classics btw, really want one of those :dopey: They could be bought in the story mode too right? I'm waiting for PIS to come down, invested all my millions in it so can't buy anything atm.. :D

I've only bought a Comet, the rest is fairly low value stuff. For some reason I have a Sentinel XS but I don't really like them all that much, I think I'll swap it for something expensive when I can afford it, a Stinger GT maybe. I love that car.

I've heard it's possible to share money between your characters, is that true? Could I use a second character's bank account to keep my earnings safe while I play PvP and annoy the police and such? I haven't seen anyone mention it here though so maybe not?

High value cars can only be stored and modified if you purchase them from the Legendary Motorsport in-game website. Bought my Cheetah, Stinger and Stinger GT from it :) Some supercars can be found on the road but most can't, and the ones you do find can't be stored sadly, its a buying game.

I'm not sure about the Zion, I have cars unclaimed from the insurance company from 2 weeks ago. Maybe you already claimed it and have to pick it up or maybe its at the police impound? If you can't find it, you have fallen victim to a new car disappearing glitch, lost my Vacca from it, could have been worse :lol:

The Stinger can be purchased in the story but the Stinger GT is online only for some reason :boggled:

Spent like 120k on it, turbo and lvl 4 ECU included. Super racing is MUCH easier, specifically on the tracks with the technical turns. :dopey:

No no I'm sure it's destroyed, I landed it in the water and got the message it is destroyed and I can claim a new one. Thought I'll do that later but now I can't. Hope it's some bug so I can claim it later on, only have like 50k online..

Yikes a disappearing glitch? I would cry man haha all those hard spend hours...

Thanks for the info, I'm going to sell my stocks and buy me some cool supercars :dopey:

Yup, but there are many differences between them :D

The GT is really brutal whilst the normal one is really delicate, having both of them lets you adapt to the situation :lol:

I just noticed that there are 2 variants of the Stanier Police Cruiser. One with a LED light bar and one with an older halogen light bar and reversed colors.

The LED version seems to be a bit rarer.

The LED one is not really rare just have to find it at the right station. I found a lot around the impound lot. Just have to drive around a bit around there and it should be parked outside.

Random fact: Installing a spoiler on a Futo and removing it magically turns it into a Futo GT.

It costs a modest 875,000, with the normal one being 850,000. Making the rest of the cash won't take too long if you go at it, I can help you out once my bad sport penalty expires :lol:

I have played some hours now and to me 850 sounds like a lot :lol: I'm doing missions with friends but we probably need more people to make some money faster.

Help is appreciated! I'm on Xbox now but I ordered the ps version and probably it's delivered tomorrow. Then we can make some money if you have some time left? :D

Bought that Stinger in offline mode. What a car :drool: My new favourite :D Bought the other supercars too. Will throw some pics in soon!

It disheartened me enough to stop playing for tonight, but at least I'll remember what it looked like for when I find another, I guess.

Bagger, it's the only one I've ever seen online. I was riding it around to collect various packages, had one crash too many and it started smoking, about ten minutes after that it caught fire, killed me, blew up and then I couldn't get it back!

I happen to have a Bagger. Driving it around should spawn more Baggers shouldn't it? I can help you out whenever you feel better. :)

I'm not sure if that works online, I was riding that bike around for about half an hour today and didn't see a single one. Maybe if it were just you and I in a server it might work though?

And thanks, I sort of based it on a bike I saw in real life last week; it was all black, had a solid rear wheel and a six-spoke front, but I couldn't find any spoked wheels I liked (and the others I tried didn't have tyres with white sidewalls anyway) so I went with the wire one. Ideally it'd have the third fuel tank and fourth exhaust option but I haven't unlocked either yet.
