Actually, there are two different NRG 900s. One look like the Ducati, and the other one has a square headlight.

Also, the NRG900 doesn't have the Ducati front. Looks more like an old honda or something with the square light.

The buccaneer is a '72 Monte Carlo, too. The Sabre must be a cutlass or something... I'll let you know when I come across one.

edit: Yes, the Sabre and Sabre GT is an Oldsmobile Cutlass. I mean, come on... Cutlass:Sabre. The Sabre is an 80s one and the GT is the 70s version. The Buccaneer is definitely the Monte Carlo

I thinks it's a Cutlass 442 based on how quick it is.
 
the regular sabre looks far more like a monte carlo than any buick, including the regal


EDIT: it looks like Rockstar made some changes at some point, the Albany became the esperanto since I'm fairly certain thats what came up when I stole one last night, even though the old pictures clearly show albany on the front of Roman's cab

Marbelle- Lincoln Town car with a little older chrysler
Moonbeam- Chevy Astrovan
taxi/police- both crown vic and impala versions can be seen, just like in real NYC

also the landstalker in gta3 was sort of generic whereas in vice city and san andreas it was definitely a S-10 blazer
 
I'd say the Schafter is a Mercedes S-class, not a C. Why ? A c-class would be much smaller...

I found two cars yesterday I hadn't even seen before- The Lokus and Ingot.

Both pretty cool!
 
Yeah but the rest of the car doesn't look entirely like an escort. I still think it looks like an 80s mustang with an Escort wing.
 
I agree, the car itself doesn't look much like an Escort, certainly not the European Cosworth version. It looks a bit like an American Escort, but with the wing from the Euro Cosworth
 
Oops, sorry about that I think that Lancet was the name of the town, unless there's also a car by the same name. :ouch:

But I think I figured out the Uranus. It's a Ford Sierra (Cosworth)

Yeah, the Sierra is closer than the Escort.
But still the Uranus looks like a 80's Mustang too.

Nope, stagea is extremely square in the wagon end, unlike the wagon end on this car in game. And I hate to say this but the back end on a stagea is almost like a volvo :crazy:

....Car in game is not an R33 though, its an R32. The later model 260RS Stagea's generally came out with an R34 front (and a GT-R engine:sly:) But yep you are right in comparing the 'stag with an R33 since most 'stags have a 33 engine in 'em.
 
Admiral has some lincoln town car, older audi a8, and even some infinity M45 thrown in. Anyone else feel like this is the PERFECT car for three leaf clover? especially in black :D

Erm... we've already established most, if not all of those :sly:

(And the Landstalker is a Toyota Landcruiser...)
 
We don't seem to have anything for the Police vehicles yet, though they're fairly simple:

The two main police cars are the Ford Crown Victoria and Chevrolet Impala (the Ford is the "Police Cruiser", the Chevy is the "Police Patrol")

The "FIB Buffalo" is a current model Dodge Charger.

And non Police, the Moonbeam is a Chevy Astro (close enough):

I'm taking a guess here.. It may be quite off;

I think the Stallion is a 1972 Mustang Mach 1. The only part that looks like it is the front. The hood and the grill.

I actually saw a Romero (Hearse) on the top bridge from the South Bohan direction, I was not actually in one at the time. I didn't know they ever spawned. I was able to get one after the funeral, but I was not driving it when I saw one on the road.

I finally managed to obtain a Hakumai. They don't seem to spawn that often... maybe it is the flip-up headlights...
