Really nothing of note on the patch notes on my part. Other than the interaction menu overhaul.

But you know: this is probably one of the updates where all the cars are top notch in quality and unfortunately price. Thank gosh I found the headhunter bug that I will now coin as the SHANC (setting headhunter at no cooldown)

Damn, that felt like a weapon from Codename: Kids Next Door.

What is Headhunter?

After like 2 million dollars worth of headhunter, it's pretty equal in timing from a Savage when with a Buzzard if you know where the VIP is in static locations, and attack the cars when they're slow or stationary.

Has anybody ever done anything with modded crew colors, especially as of recent? I've been trying to get them to work, bu I can't seem to figure it out, mainly since I'm comparable to a caveman with knowledge of computers.

Also, you know what I thought would have been workingerfect for the Stunning Cu- er... Cunning Stunts DLC? The Hotring Racer from Vice City! Just give it horrible traction at launch nd it would have fit perfectly!

These stunt races are honestly the worst thing to ever happen to the race mode.

There is no skill involved whatsoever, it's 100% luck and money to have a maxed out car.

I miss the early days when the closest to an 'easy' race was the one in the storm drain :( even that required you to know how to drive a little bit.

Criminal Records has been in the game since launch and is literally just a circle, how is that tougher than Down The Drain or any of the stunt races?

There is absolutely skill involved. I've won races with everything stock and with custom cars. It's all about going around the bendy bits faster than everyone else. Which does require skill, regardless of what the track is.

The feeling when I got mod menus to try out the Rally Truck, but confirms it's "pegasusness" by being denied entry to an LSC..

And oddly enough, the Drift Tampa (as it's called in game) is Sports, which I'm sure is no surprise seeing it race against the Omnis in the trailer. It particularly feels like a really fast and agile Muscle.

I heard that the Drift Tampa is a seperate car, not a Bennified Tampa. You buy it the way it is and there is limited customisation.
Read yesterday that the RallyTruck is a Peg, completely kills any notion of purchase to be honest. Drive it in races only.

I take it @SomePlayaDude's SHANC money making scheme only works as a CEO? Just tried it as my second character who's just a VIP, and it didn't work. Gonna try on my main character now as a CEO.

EDIT: Just tried it as a CEO and it still doesn't work.

I got it to work and I'm a CEO. You need to be pretty quick between finishing Headhunter and Starting the Flight school. Complete Inside loop. Remember you also need to be in an invite only.

Works in a Closed Friend room too, and you don't even have to pass the test. I failed one, quit, and was still able to SHANC it.

Edit: Just remembered it put me in a Invite only room, after the flight test. Started in a Closed Friend room, though.

Maybe the gap between finishing Headhunter and starting the flight school was too much, I was all the way in Paleto Bay.

Anyone wanna team up for some SHANC'ing on PC later? With 4 Savages, each round would be something like 1-2 minutes.

That's like $600,000+/hr if I'm not mistaken (I only ever VIP/CEO solo, so I don't know the payouts for a VIP team)

I think everyone but the CEO only gets 20K, but if you get a team it'll still be good paying

It may be the issue. Iirc I was at the docks near Simeons garage when I started headhunter, spawns the targets in the city much closer to the Airport.

Edit: "SHANC'ING" means something else completely different in the UK (possibly only Scotland)

Played Headhunter, finished in downtown LS, went to the flight school, did outside loop, came back out, all VIP jobs on countdown. All in an invite only room. :grumpy:

I it'll work after the cooldown's over, but I could be wrong

I do find headhunter to be a bit easier out in Blaine County as there is less places for the victims to hide....:sly:
Funny enough, I feel completely opposite. Yes the targets have better cover in the city, but the travel times are much shorter (for me at least).

Except that one train warehouse by the farms, where 90% of the time you have to get out of your heli to get the guy hiding inside the garage. Totally sticking with the city.

You're doing it right; just gotta wait on the cooldown.
