I blow up cars with 10,000 to 12,000 premiums sometimes. You'd think having to pay that is a fair punishment. But 20 days bad sport? Jesus christ

You in bad sport land for 20 days? Damn.. lol, the bad sport system needs a desperate revamp. I think I'm on my 4th warning for blowing up personal cars of people who chase and attempt to kill me, or hunting bounties (the AP Pistol destroys cars in seconds  ) They should remove it for blowing up personal vehicles and just slightly change the way insurance works, I think the way it works right now is if I have enough money and I blow your car up I pay for it? But if I don't have enough money the owner pays right?

That system sucks, and they should allow players to go into debt, so if trolls want to spend every last dollar on stickys, grenades etc and then go round causing chaos this will put them several thousand / hundred thousand into debt so they are no longer able to afford to replenish their supply of stickys/nades etc until they start doing missions and earning money, this allows players to have fun causing chaos but also nudges them in the direction to actually play the game missions as Rock* intended or gives them a reason to purchase cash packs to get out of debt quick, which will support Rock*.

Bad sport should only be for quitting mid mission which will result in other players not getting a payout (only example I can think of of is a 1v1 race if your opponent quits you get no money, but I'm sure there are other scenarios like this) . Not sure if there is technically a way to differentiate from a disconnect and actually quitting though as it wouldn't be fun to end up in bad sport servers because of an internet failure.

Free mode really should be free with a better passive mode that completely ghosts you and your car. Then if you choose not to do that anything goes, it is GTA after all.

Earned $150k through grinding races again yesterday that I was going to spend tuning my 9F. Ended up blowing it buying a pink Voltic instead. I'm dumb.

This guy killed me and when I spawned he was busy fighting off another guy and a ton of cops. Instead of trying to kill him I figured I'd hit him where it hurts. I shoot at his car until it blew up lol. It was a car I needed to give to Simon but couldn't since he owned it plus he killed me before. Enough reason for me to destroy it.

Exactly. Don't get me started on how awful Passive Mode is as well. It's a complete failure and should also be tweaked like the Bad Sport system. I should not be penalised by putting Passive Mode on then getting in my car to escape a crazed killer i.e. another player, by them being allowed to shoot me in the head when I'm trying to escape the fact that they could shoot in me the head if I wasn't in Passive Mode, not to mention the fact that they could run me over if I stayed on foot. That's not Passive Mode, that's a mode that makes you unable to fight back, while everyone else can take advantage of it.

Another thing I don't understand. Yesterday I was driving around in a public free roam that I got dumped in for some strange reason, I was heading back to my apartment to change cars and I almost got into my garage when a message popped up saying "You were kicked by other players. Please return to Grand Theft Auto V". I don't get how you can be kicked for no reason in a public lobby, then be made to go offline.

Sorry for my rant.

Not to mention turning off passive mode is such a faff by the time you've done it you'll probably be dead anyway before you can fight back.

I don't go in free roam so I've never been kicked there but I am sick of joining a lobby, waiting 45 seconds or more and then getting kicked because the hosts crew started joining. Wasting my time.

👍

And get rid of the stupid penalty when blowing up someones car.

All you need in Free Mode is a sniper rifle and a minigun, most of the killers online can't shoot without the aim assist so it's better to keep your distance and one-shot the little kids or use the minigun to blow up their cars when they're trying to run you over.

Also, I don't understand why sometimes, when I join a lobby I instantly get bounty placed on me. I don't even know these people and I've just joined so how can I be "wanted"?

Bounties doesn't go away when you leave a session, so you probably had a bounty from another, previous session. :)

GO6DoRiFUt0 (That's his PSN) & I are just flying from store to store and robbing it . I've made around 5K so far, and I make sure to give him/her around $250 a store.

That'd be me

That was actually pretty fun minus those ridiculous 4 star chases. What did you do, hold him up with an RPG?

The wanted levels increase if you rob stores one after the other. Three stars for the first two I think, if you lose that then rob another one it'll go to four.

Your best bet is to wear a mask. The wanted level shoots to 4 immediately because the cashier recognizes you as a robber and calls 911. Wearing a mask will prevent them from identifying you. 👍

Bounties are given to you by the game, I've never had a player put a bounty on me but I've had dozens from the AI or whatever. When you steal a car you will often get a text saying "you messed with the wrong people", followed by "A bounty of $5000 has been placed on you".

As mentioned the bounties carry over to your next session, after a certain amount of time it will be "evaded", I'm not sure how long that takes though.

I think it's two in the beginning but neither am I 100% sure. :)

24 in game hours, 48 real in game minutes. Oh and only in free roam, if you go off and do an activity the timer pauses.

I got it in solo lobbies from an AI, it's pretty easy because nobody comes after you.

I go in a private lobby and wait unti I get the money from my bounty

How about, if someone doesn't have the money to pay for the cars they destroy, they can't insure their personal vehicles. My idea:

After x many cars are destroyed rates double. A $12k car now becomes a $24k car.

If the person persists, the amount triples from the new amount so $24k becomes $72k. If they can't pay they get a warning that if they cannot pay within a certain amount of time, the insurance company will repo their cars as payment. And if that doesn't work as a deterrent, then the Insurance company revokes their insurance and they can no longer buy loss/theft prevention stuff and it is removed from their personal vehicles. And to get it back they have to be a good sport for a while. I think that would be pretty effective. Especially to all those who have the really expensive cars like the Z-type.

I'd take the money, and then shoot him , guess after the 4th time or so, the Police got more involved

Nice. I bet I am in there for almost 6 months after yesterday.

That good/bad sport thing is a joke to be honest.

Anyway,
I find it amazing how many times I have been called a hacker because I know how to throw off other people's auto aim.

9/10 I am able to take down someone that has a fully automatic weapon with my pistol because they do not know this. I guess it is too bad some people didn't play Red Dead Redemption.

I like that, but I also agree with someone else who posted above that you should be able to go into debt. If you blow up another person's car, you should pay for it even if you have $0 then go into the -$.

I played RDR and I don't know how to do that lol, share your secrets.

Thanks to Speedy's Criminal Records grinding session last night, I racked up a ton of cash as well as RP. So I figured, why not spend it on upgrading my baby, the Coquette. So this was the result:

Unfortunately I'm now low on funds again, but I will reap the rewards, especially in GTA Races. ;) If anyone's doing Criminal Records again tonight, I'll be willing to join.

Money comes and goes. Money comes and goes. Money comes and goes..

But I am proud to own a 10 million Shelby Daytona 40 limited run Grotti Stinger GT. (Yes i know, there are thousands of these online.)

Hahaha not a chance.

Just messing, I know everyone will figure it out eventually.

The trick is to roll. Say I am locking onto you, and you roll in front of me. When you are about to pop up from rolling, you will have a chance to lock onto my head before I could get my lock on you again.

One suggestion if we ever run into each other, do not roll first or you will die first.

Practice getting head shots while doing this, then you will be practically unstoppable.

I'd like to join this as well. :)

If anybody's grinding later, I would like to join in as well. The more people, the bigger the reward. :D:tup:
