I always seem to either vastly underhit or overhit the last shot onto the green. As for putting, well unless it's right next to the pin it rarely goes in.

Saturday, anyone wanna do an all day grind of Criminal Records, it'll start around Noon and end at 8.

Method for those who don't know it - First race we do, don't pass anyone, just follow the starting order, next race move up one position & first falls back to last. If you join in after the first race, just finish last your first race and slowly move up from there.
All day?!?

I'm done with CR. I bit the bullet and started blowing up people's cars @Carl the Sloth style because it is much more fun than playing Fluffy Bunny Adventures (basically playing by the rules).

I'm just sticking to varied races and missions, as I have always done.

Anyway Darren I'll be online in about 10 minutes if you want to send a golf invite.

Okay, this time I'll let you win then could you return the favour?

Oh Caaaaaaaaaaaarl! :D

Ah, that makes sense now. That [Esperanto] doesn't spawn normally in GTAV right?
Correct there is no civilian version in GTA V. The one pictured above is the North Yankton State Police version. In-game name is 'Police Roadcruiser, Emergency'. Like the Police Rancher, the lightbar is missing, but the siren still works.

Haha alright. But for the love of god try to control your sticky bomb fetish while I dupe it to ya. XD

Not yet, I haven't played much today because revision. But I think I'm going to end up as one pretty soon, considering one 12 year old (I think he was, sure as heck sounded like one) I've made cry as I blew up their $650,000 Cheetah and they didn't know how to put insurance on it. (They obviously get for free as they had a garage, but it was funny to hear them cry as they thought I just blew up his 650k car)

Ok we're both sorted for golf now, what else do you need to win? I've just got tennis and solo deathmatch left. I was beating someone at tennis but it seems whenever you get two breaks ahead the quit. So ideally I need to swap wins with someone at tennis and solo deathmatch.

Anyone with a helicopter and wants to do the Lester mission with me?

I usually call Lestor for a chopper which is always a Buzzard, 700 dollars well spent. Or I call Merryweather for a pickup, for 1k and fly to the military base and take a jet. No stars seemingly while in a mission :p.

2 negatives for GTAV/GTAO:

1. The mechanic, for whatever reason, is a complete idiot. The other day he delivered my bike to me...then ripped me off of it. And he's run my cars into walls and he parks 8 miles away...and he won't deliver your car every where, which I don't understand 'cause the cab company will get you a cab no matter where you are. You could be out on an island in the middle of the ocean, call the cab company and a cab would emerge from the ocean. But you're mechanic isn't that smart. I just kill him every time I see him now 'cause he's useless. Seriously, I wish I could hire the cab company to deliver my cars.

2. The cover system doesn't quite work. More your character doesn't quite understand how it works. You'll hit the cover button and the character will about half the time take cover on the wrong spot. This is particularly frustrating when you're in a mission, trying to fight 80 guys and your stupid character decides instead of taking cover from the bullets, he/she'll simply face the firing squad. It's better than GTAIV...but..it's still broken.

Yeah, tell me about it.

The other night I had my Feltzer out of my garage, somewhere on the map, I was miles away from it, so I phone my mechanic to bring me it, he phones to say he can't bring it (big surprise, even though I'm next to a road), so I phone him back and ask him to bring my Penumbra.

What does he bring, but my Feltzer. Except it's not really, it's a duplicate - because when I drove it back to my garage to swap it for the Penumbra which I asked for in the first place, I find that my Penumbra has somehow turned into another Feltzer.

You can imagine I was annoyed, since I had hunted around for the first one for the best part of an hour and spent a couple hundred thousand on parts for it, only to have to do it all again. Though luckily the second search didn't take as long, I was still annoyed that I had to spend another 200k on parts for a car that should not have vanished.

But yeah, the Mechanic system is totally screwed up, and I think when it works, it's great. But when it doesn't i.e. a lot of the time, it's plain awful and only adds to the other glitches that really make this game unplayable and only force people to cheat to make money.

Looks like it's good I use the "request vehicle" function in the quick menu when such happen... :scared:

What is it with people putting missions on hard and then not having a clue what to do? Twice in the last few days I've joined the mission where you have to get a Cargobob from Zancudo, go to the airport and pick up a crate. Both times the others haven't known what to do, just driven round aimlessly despite the description telling you what to do. So I go and get the Cargobob on my own, tell them to join me and get in a jet but then they don't know how to get into Zancudo. Useless, at least put a mission on normal or easy if you don't know what to do. That mission on hard you need assistance to lose the cops in the Cargobob.

How does GTA: Online work in terms of connection? Is the player the host, P2P? Or are we all connected to a server that is host? last few days lag has been terrible for me, cars scatting out all over the place, worse it's ever been even with just me and one other person in a server.

I get 20mb down / 3mb up connection through my PS3, not amazing but should be enough so that cars aren't floating all over the place.

You know I have the same pet hate. This really annoys me as well. Like when people put Base Invaders on Hard, then complain when they keep dying. Or Los Santos Connection on Hard then moan at me because I'm the last person alive, I get to the Airport and the dudes just keep spawning and I die, right when it's nearly done.

Another annoyance with LSC I have is when I get to the hanger first I'll take out a couple of guys and then get in the attack helicopter and start firing rockets into the hanger as it makes that part so much easier. Then people start running into the hanger and moan when they get blown up because they can't wait for me to destroy most people and vehicles in sight, THEN i'll stop so they can go in and get the drugs.

That is also a general issue, people thinking they're Rambo and dying in five seconds flat rather than taking cover and taking their time.

Yes, I know, I hate that too.

On missions I just love watching kids get in their Adders and race to the checkpoint/drug pickup/etc. and think they have to get their first, when I know a lot of the time (especially if it's on hard) that they'll be the first to die.

Indeed. Whenever I near a checkpoint way ahead of anyone else I always wait for others to catch up, most missions are designed to be taken on by more than one person at once.

Also another point with the LSC mission i just remembered, and a couple of other ones like it, why can seemingly nobody do the hacking? Sure the first part can be annoying when you just can't see the code but it usually appears eventually, then the second part is easy. I always seem to end up having to do it because one or two other people will have a go and can't do it.

Yes. These are definitely problems. There is also a problem in the Dry Docking Mission (Unlocked at Rank 45). I was with a few other people and after I killed the last of the enemies, my character jumped in the water to swim towards the boat and that didn't work because I couldn't swim at all. I was literally walking in the water and I couldn't climb the ladder. I could still breathe too and the Lung Capacity Meter didn't pop up either. It is a strange glitch. Very strange glitch.
