I still had my hacked cash last night. I never deposited the $200 million I got a while ago, so I lose money whenever I die or buy something, even if its a small amount. I don't want the cash, so I'll just let it deplete.

Once you get the apartment and a few cars that you want online. The money is pretty much useless aside from paying for the inevitable insurance on your friends or your car. Aside from that, the money is useless.

I don't agree with you. Atleast me, I usually go buying some clothes (I get tired of using the smae clothes every day in real life and on GTAO), buy ammo for my guns, tune my cars. I don't agree that the money is useless after you get the apartment and the cars you want.

After you'll buy every clothes. And now money will be useless. Trust me.. After i bought about all weapons + attachments + all clothes + Any car i really wanted + All warstock + All etc... Now money useless except for paying people Insurance. as your own.

I am sitting at almost 2 million legit. I avoid ALL public free roam lobbies. I only play survival and co-op missions online. Saving the money for the heists. Just in case we need a specific vehicle. If a co-op mission or survival ends and I see I am in a public lobby, I instantly leave.

It still frustrates me that when I search for "missions" it throws me into some of the team death matches. So I end up leaving, and searching again. Sometimes I can try 5-6 times before being thrown into a co-op mission. After a while I just give up and search for a survival.

Honestly heists are quite pointless now. Sure it will give you a big amount of $. But at this point. GTA Online slowly dieing of no interest :\. 80% of everyone has 50million +

Then I agree with you. But I'm currently at $40k, so any money would be gladly accepted.

I don't think the heists will be pointless at all. I play for fun and even if they don't pay out much I am still looking forward to them. Even if I had billions of dollars I would still want to play them.........for fun.

GTA great fun when you have friends around. its quite utterly boring if your playing by yourself.

That's why I join online co-op missions and online survival if my friends are not online. There is an insane amount to do in this game IMO. But again I am playing for fun and can always find ways to entertain myself in this game. I honestly cant think of any other game that offers more than GTA5 online in terms of entertainment IMO.
 
I have also been having quite a bit of fun recently. I join a random race, and if it turns our to be a good group who race clean enough and dont want to repeat jumps jumps jumps over and over again I will stick around. Been doing the gang attacks too. @CAMAROBOY69 - they can be good for $$$ - lots of the enemies drop wads of $500, and the crate (if you can find it) could be worth a couple thousand. I also to the missions offered on my phone occasionally if they sound OK.

Yes I do the gang attacks too. I actually do a little bit of everything in this game. Rob stores, parachute events, races, co-op missions, survival, fly jets, helicopters, boat races, and just about everything the imagination can bring including rock climbing. I don't play deathmatch much. Only with friends once in a while. But I don't like doing those with randoms.

Its honestly overwhelming how much there is to do in this game online. Also like you said, if I join a good group of people and have fun with them, we usually end up voting on the same events and stay together for several hours. Especially if people like to do co-op missions. If another co-op mission comes up to vote on, it will quickly fill up votes and we will join the next event. :)

Uhm... guys... I still have my cash, but I think the winter clothing may have glitched just slightly. In the sense that half my torso is missing when I wear a beach bum T-Shirt and a suit jacket.

Same here. I have the upper half from Christmas including the jingling elf hat, not the lower half. I am going to keep it this way as long as possible. haha
 
I'm bald as well, which isn't too much of an issue since I was using one of the free hairstyles before and I still have 336 mil hanging around.

Also, does anyone know what happens if you have zero cash and you have to pay your mechanic/apartment rent? Do you actually get kicked out of your apartment and your mechanic leaves?

I like having my $27 billion sat there. It's way more than I could ever spend, which is what comforts me. I can replace Adders and Stingers without a care, I can wreak havoc and not care, I can mess around and have fun.

I was bald when I lost my Xmas stuff too (I had a black Santa mask, so up yours Megyn Kelly :p), and when I tried to get a new haircut, I ended up with cornrows AND what I eventually chose.

Same. Kinda annoying but whatever.

Also, when you don't pay your mechanic/rent it's not that much of a big deal - the mechanic just won't deliver your car and the electricity/plumbing in your apartment will go out. You don't lose any cars/apartments.
