Its Tuesday and no information of anything new today? Bummer. I guess we will have to wait another week and see if anything is released next Tuesday.

I am almost at 2 million legit. Also very close to level 100. Still playing mainly co-op missions and survivial. Also a few races of "Jump Jump Jump" lately. I still avoid public free roam lobbies to avoid hackers. So far so good. :)

So... Rockstar... about the Rat Loader...

WHEN ARE WE GETTING IT BACK?!

Update 1.10 Patch notes

- Added Rat Loader Back In
- nah, just kidding
- fixed issue where player would litter, now charged $100 for dropping used items on ground

If the litter fee was real, then everyone would be broke if we did the cloning glitch at @ZDUPH's house during this patch.

Good times. Good times.

Just raced Down the Drain with some other guys a few times. In one of the races, I drove over one of those cardboard boxes with my Entity and did an awesome backflip, landing in the other side of the track and spinning out as I did.

*Notices problem*
"Oops. Sorry community. We'll fix this ASAP!"

*Fixes problem*

"Just kidding! LAWL!"
*Brings problem back*
Not much of a problem. It's always the asshat that wrecks you at the first corner that loses control on the cardboard, allowing you to pass them. :sly:

This is my fourth time in a row racing "paleto bay-vanillla unicor" race. As the name says, you race from Paleto Bay to Vanilla Unicor(n). There are some jumps in the middle of the freeway and some obstacles to avoid, but it's pretty fun.

Does it have fences in the middle of the highway that require all 16 (If you are in a race with that many anyways, you're gonna have a bad time) players to go through a 1 car wide gap? If not, LAAAAAAME! :p

 Thankfully not, also it's limited to 8 players, but there's still enough mayhem to want to throw your controller away when someone accidentally clips your car mid-air. :banghead:

EDIT: Now someone has to go and ruin it by making it Point to point GTA. :irked:

Anyone else miss the APC from TBoGT? It's like a smaller, weaker, yet more maneuverable Rhino. I think it would be excellent for those pesky Gang Attacks online (Yes, you can do them with the Rhino, but it can't fit into tight areas).
I wouldn't mind seeing an APC take on a Rhino much in the same way that the Annihilator combats the Buzzard.

The only thing is, despite having what is essentially a faster firing, longer range explosive AA12, the APC is still inferior. The APC could easily be taken out by two Rhino shells, with the first one most likely setting it on fire. The Rhino would need to be hit numerous times in the engine area, specifically. This would prove very complicated for the APC, since it would need to be strafing around the Rhino, whilst dodging the shells. In the time it takes the APC to move around and score some hits, the Rhino could easily spin itself around, since it can turn and roll around very violently.

Off the radar.

Off the radar.

That's only effective for a fast, hard-hitting surprise attack. The Rhino would be temporarily caught off-guard, but then would see where the APC is and attack, since the APC couldn't deal enough damage.

I'm sorry if it looks like I'm giving the APC crap, but it could never hold its own against a Rhino.

You'd still be able to do a decent amount of damage, especially if the tank is damaged from blowing up cars, nearby players, etc.

Or go for a suicide run and get close enough to the tank, to where you're almost touching it. Keep firing at the tank, trying to deal as much damage as possible. Since you're so close to the tank, it might make it hard for them to aim the long cannon at the APC. You could probably knock the cannon away from you. If you're lucky, the tank will critically damage itself from firing at the ground (or you) and the resulting splash damage will destroy it.

If you get killed and this technique has left the tank critically damaged, you could take it out with explosives. A sticky bomb-riddled car will work very well, or if you're at level 100+, you can shoot off a couple RPGs at him.

Or save yourself the effort and get multiple APCs.

I was only thinking about solo battles. A group of friends could work well, with one working as a distraction, while the others do the majority of the damage. Then there's air support. P-996 Lazer with dual miniguns equipped with explosive rounds, Buzzard with missiles (Dumb fire missiles on tanks).

The APC in TBoGT could withstand 4 explosions from the front before catching fire if I recall. However, with that being said, the APC, with it's horrendous acceleration and wide turning circle, wouldn't be able to outrun a Rhino, thanks to the Rhino's tank tracks.
The Rhino's cannon does a bit more damage than an RPG or any thrown explosive though, so if an APC were to combat a Rhino, it would only take 3 cannon blasts from the Rhino to render the APC immobilized.
It's a shame that the NOOSE don't utilize APCs in this game. Surely it would make Rhino rampages alot more fun (and dare I say...challenging?).
