So today I finally got my mic working. It's amazing how much faster the clerks give you the money when you shout at them. Sorry if I burst anyone's eardrums today. "GIVE ME ZA MONEYS LEBOWSKI!"

Just shoot your gun. That's what I do and it works.
 
Just a question; does anyone know if there's a way to avoid alarning the police, when holding up a store?

If you keep from getting killed for a whole in game day, which is 48 real time minutes, you actually get to keep the bounty for yourself.

Just sit in your house for 48 minutes and wait it out, if you can't do that, hide by police stations on a rooftop and lure people into shooting at you first, it makes the cops take care of them easily. You gotta make sure the roof's more than four stories high or so, otherwise people will lob grenades up to you. It's a lot of fun.

There are some rooftops by the geometric-decorated park that are great for this. One only has a single ladder up, and I spent a solid hour picking off people who came after me up there. The other has two and is less secure, but offers a better vantage point.

Wish I would've known how long it takes; I managed about 30 minutes yesterday before getting capped.

I tryed last night get duct mission show up, but no luck...
And what you guys do to call faster new mission?
 
Just got a new gta update and when I went online it gave me option to change appearance of character. Mabye because so many people got bored of making character only for it to get deleted they went online with anything.

You can also just shoot the clerks and take the money from the cashier yourself.

Doesn't that give you less money (for some reason)? I generally get 1.5k when I wait it out but on the occasion when I accidentally shot him I only got about 1k, even after taking his money.
I think he also runs into the back room and doesn't open the register if you shoot and kill someone else in the store.
 
Ended up doing survival with a good group of people tonight. Got to level 9 at the scrapyard before getting destroyed by the cops and their mini guns.... Anyways, got us 14k and it was a blast while doing so. Quick tip on the scrapyard, hide in the bins inside one of the hangars and just let them come to you.

The option to change the appearance of your character is a one time offer. I declined that offer yesterday before there was an update.

EDIT:
I went from $25k @ lvl 6 to $300k @ lvl 16 in one evening of grinding the Voilent Duct with mainly TheKitten, iainoflo and SpeedyOLLY. Thanks guys. 👍
Still amazed on how fast $ and XP went. :eek:

I sure called that yesterday didn't I? I knew they would patch this mission so we couldn't make as much money. Which as we said yesterday, is understandable.

I usually just play the survival modes for $20,000. Always a good time and have helped me max out my shooting and stamina already. The GTA races are also fun and pay out fairly well too.

Well.

1. Go to the icon on the map, and Host one or join one.

2. Go to menu, Online, Jobs, Host Jobs, Survival.


The Update 1.03 has fixed the R2 Spamming. Farming is now over :(. Survival Grind now :D, as Race Grinds :p.

Shooting doesn't make them go as fast and gives you more wanted stars. Shouting nihilist movie quotes makes them bag up the cash real quick.

Even if it's not for the immediate benefit of the players, it's still fixing the game... besides, I'd bet any amount of money that if they had kept it as the same then in a month people would be complaining about 'I want to play a different mission, but nobody plays anything else'.
They still allow you to sell easy-to-find cars for 9k each, and from what I can work out you can still do a 2-minute mission for 3k each time - it's still easy to make money, you just can't do it at the same rate.

Yes enjoy the survival modes while you can. I am sure that will be patched next. Whatever they see players making the most money, they will patch. So enjoy while you can.
 
Mission for Martin Madrazo (Out of court settlement IIRC) gets you 9k cash and 1k RP for shooting one guy and hiding from the police :P Only about 2 minutes
