I was glad you stayed as well Dan. That was fun! 👍
Too bad GTA V is getting a bit old and it's hard to come across crew members. At least that's what I always seem to notice when I get on.
I want to do missions and make GTA money with peoples I know and not some randoms who mess up halfway through and then quit.

I know how you feel. It sucks that it's so hard to have any fun in this game if you aren't at the right level, or have enough cash. What I want to do is complete missions using the minigun, but armor is horrible in this game. In GTA IV, it was much harder to die than in V. Your health just seems to deplete so quickly and your armor is destroyed from things that wouldn't affect a real-life bulletproof vest! Falling off a motorcycle while wearing a bp vest in real life would scratch it up pretty badly, but it wouldn't affect it's usefulness. :banghead:

Anyway, am I the only one here who misses the F620's engine sound in GTA TBOGT? The Sultan also has a crappy engine sound in V, too.

So, how many are here with the no auto aim?

Or is the GTA 5 Roadtrip club you all hanging around a bit too frequent for events without good ol' me?

I was on last night with @OoSKYLiiNEoO and @Subarglue doing some missions. I started my night with auto aim but skyline was inviting us to free aim missions and the game asked if I wanted to switch. When I returned to freemode, it reverted back to AA. He was inviting everyone (crew and randoms) and only Subarglue joined.

Subarglue and I then took to the skies in Lazers, I couldn't help myself and I started to hone my cannon skills on the tiny, ant like randoms crawling around in the filth. Got some great kills, then I crashed into a building, it's always the way :indiff:.

Made about 100k and played some missions I've not done before.

To be honest I don't see why you'd choose free aim over auto-aim. It puts you at a disadvantage.

Don't forget, every 3D era GTA had auto-aim on most of their weapons.

And anyone who can aim properly with free-aim is a magician! (Or is using a mouse)

We all know this is a true science fact.

If you use free-aim, you get put with free-aim players and vice versa. It's nice not having to worry about being shot when driving.
I play in a free aim crew and it's really my preference... I think it works well and I think that if and when I join any jobs that put me in auto assist I have a harder time with it locking on to the wrong people. I usually blaze through Survivals in AA though.

Anyone up for doing some missions right now? Haven't done anything other online than GTP trips and meets for awhile. :)

Sure, I'd be up for that. Let me get online first and get my PS3 on a wired connection again. I'd hate for my Wi-fi to drop in the middle of a session just because my sis wants to watch Netflix

Argh! I broke of my PS3 remotes and lost the other. I'm already jonesing to play online. Oh well, back to playing GTA on the Xbox for awhile.

I play in free aim almost exclusively. Only exceptions I make is when taking invites from crew members. Not a fan of auto aim since it locks on to center of mass instead of me being able to freely aim for heads and the only way to avoid the lock on is to use a sniper or aim somewhere else and then towards the targets.

I usually just use lock on and then point the aim cursor up myself. Call it cheap, but no one ever plays on free-aim.
Plenty of people play on free aim. Whenever I join public lobbies, they're always full of players. Never have trouble with using on call for missions unless the servers are messing up, but at that point any mission won't load for me.
