They could've made them available for purchase for the weekend only like the Vinyl Countdown, Bitchin' Dog Food, etc.

Yeah, I prefer how they did it with those ones, all you had to do was log on each day and they were added to your account. It wasn't too tricky to get the LTS fist shirt, since there was only one of those, but the independence day stuff was an absolute pain...
 
Special crate drops can happen when you're on your own in an invite only session. Whenever I want to play online on my own, I always set up my own invite only session rather than going into a solo session, that way things still happen (such as special crate drops) as if I was in a normal session, without having to worry about cheating randoms. :p

I know that was the case for the last drops.. but I don't think it was always like that nor am I certain it will be that way for this particular event.
 
I have never seen crate drops in Invite Only sessions. I always play in them, but I never invite anybody. Don't you need 5+ people to get them to spawn?
 
Speaking of characters, I haven't checked in a while, but can you make more than two characters per account now?
 
I want a third character so I can have a fresh start, except this will be a pacifist character (IE: No weapons of any kind after the introductory missions). I know it sounds odd, but I want to try it out. I would do that on my current second character, but it has a Gusenberg Sweeper (My favorite SMG in the game) and I really don't want to lose it.
 
I want to make an "average" character. One car, two car garage apartment, and only one sidearm for protection. I think it would be interesting.

Nice idea, but would you be able to keep it up? One car and a handgun?
 
You can accomplish a lot with a Futo and a heavy pistol.


Of course, I'll also keep a knife and some molotovs.

Maybe a Marksman rifle. 💡

How well does the Heavy Pistol compare to the others? I bought one the other day, and used it very briefly during a Boneyard Survival grind session because I switched to other weapons instead. I have heard that the Heavy Pistol does the most damage, but also the SNS Pistol. I don't know what is true, though. The AP Pistol is still my favorite to use, but I would like to hear from you about pistols, since I like them a bit more than big carbines and shotguns.
 
I've used the heavy pistol on occasion and found it rather ample in the power department. In my opinion, it seems to be much more powerful than the SNS or anything other handgun.

I have a third character on another PS profile..just bought 10 car garage at Del Perro
And filled it with random cars at rank 16.
 
The heavy pistol is slotted between the SNS and the Deagle. It shares ammo with the other guns and has a 18 round capacity because 🤬 realism. It's an okay weapon, but you need to know what you're doing to take advantage of it.

The AP is a boring Russian machine pistol. I hate it.

If I was to do a normal so to speak character. I feel that I could carry a pistol and sawed off shotgun. Maybe even an sub Uzi. Granted these items would be slung and visible. Shotty I could leg slide it. LoL. But really though, AP pistol if pistol only and that would be to earn cash missions and such. Vehicle. Sultan!

Anyway. Time to chase crates.
 
Does anyone know how often special crates appear, and how many people have to be in the lobby? I really want the K-DST shirt, though I don't feel like preparing myself with a helicopter to get there quickly and facing a bunch of AIs only to get blown up by a random.

If I could do it with a small group of people in an invite lobby, that would be great.
