Part of the One-77 looks odd to me, but I like it for the most part. I would be interested to see where it could compete with other cars.

One thing I noticed is that when I had a full garage I only ever used one or two cars in it, so I figured it would be more practical and more fun to own 1 car and live wherever I want without having to worry about space, hopefully when the Dukes is introduced in the newer console versions I can put that alongside it <3

I love this... Mine has the shaker hood :P and the same color as yours. I kind of copied yours since i feel in love with it :lol:

Fully agree with this. I have my 6 car garage full but I only use certain cars when others have been destroyed and I've been too lazy to call Mors Mutual.

- Merryweather Mesa.
- Buffalo (not S).
- Tailgater.
- Elegy.
- And two cars I can't even remember.

Same. I have an apartment near the helipad and a 10 car garage in the middle of nowhere. I only use a few cars at a time so why bother? :)


Which reminds me, I should rearrange my fleet when I get back on. I've got few ideas.

The Phoenix I have right now is pretty much my "Patriot" car since I put in the Patriot wheel smoke and the Mericuh horn from the Independence Day update.

But I don't call it my Phoenix Wright for nothing.

It's unfortunate that this console/PC disparity had to happen.

Would it be great to have a unified console/PC server so that we wouldn't be separate?

There's no way Sony and Microsoft would agree to that. Could you imagine the horror - gamers being able to play together even if they have different consoles! It could end the console wars!

It would simply be impossible to implement. Especially if the PC version gets modding capabilities.

In an ideal world it would be fantastic to have unified servers, but even if we don't get into how it would require a ton of work in terms of how each system actually works both hardware-wise and software-wise, it's simply not a smart move in terms of business strategy.

With unified servers, the only way you can get people to buy your console is by making it either very expensive to cover the costs of superior hardware, innovation, and a plethora of exclusives, or to make it cheap and risk losing your business when a competitor ends up having better exclusives. Right now, one of the big reasons people will buy a console is because they know their friends/community will likely own the same console, but unified servers would mean the death of consoles because PC gaming is cheaper, more customizable, better for the most part in terms of hardware, etc. so there would be NO REASON to buy a console over a PC unless you want exclusives (and once a popular PC racing sim hits the market there'll no genre of exclusives that PC lacks over consoles).

You could of course say 'All gaming companies should just merge and then there's no problem with competition' but 1. a monopoly just means they can drive prices up sky high and 2. I will literally eat an entire hat if that ever happens in our lifetime.

It's just another of those "dream on" scenarios, I guess.

For mods however, I doubt there'd be any impact on the multiplayer, unless it's visual. Aside from retextures or remodeling, I can only want a different hud than the clunky one we have right now.

How is the current one clunky? :confused:

Health, body armor, special ability amount, radar, ammo, reticule, etc are all in their respective positions. It's a hell of a lot more simple than HUDs in other games.
 
The only worth complaining about the HUD is that you can't deactivate every single event from the map. So when you are trying to take cover from someone sniping you, you have the map full of blue events which hide the player shooting at you. Incredibly annoying, moreover when the option for a simpler map just gets rid of barbershops and the like.
