Ugh... new PSA:

When I say to dodge any of the stunty tracks like the plague?

That, and tricky, tight spaced air races (like DEDALUS) when your competition are incompetent..

The only reason I play most of the stunt tracks is so I can hear my friends rage about how hard they are to do and how pointless they are.

I haven't played "DEDALUS" yet, but it doesn't seem like a bad course. It looks quite nice, actually. You aren't going to be performing any extreme maneuvers on it, so it isn't that hard to play. However, you're guaranteed a loss if you have cringe-worthy piloting ability.

One thing about DEDALUS is the amount of near missing you have to do, be it a bridge, a hill, an electric tower..

And if they don't know the performance of each heli, your opponent will most likely choose a combat helicopter, with the illusion that you can shoot down your opponents.

My issue with competent pilots is that piloting a chopper is very finicky on keyboard. Totally one of the things I definitely choose to use a controller with.

It's a fine track, really. Had a good time with a Swift. Might get one..

Currently, the Swift Deluxe is the fastest helicopter in the game. The Buzzard (No difference between civilian and attack version) is smaller and can get through narrow gaps (Between buildings or telephone poles) but the Swift Deluxe is superior in terms of top speed, which is necessary for that track.

If you're in a GTA Race on DEDALUS, then the Buzzard is probably your best choice, since it out-performs the Savage and Annihilator in just about every category, except for armor and fire power. The Savage's cannon fires faster than regular miniguns, has explosive rounds, and the rocket launchers fire continuously.

There's a civilian Buzzard?
During non GTA races only. Basically the same as regular but with guns & rockets removed.

That's where familiarizing yourself with a vehicle comes into play. In this instance, how the chopper fits within its surroundings and what sort of room it needs to make transitions are crucial--I've thrown sparks across the little section of hill along the coast without having lifted on the forward tilt. On the other hand, I've trashed my Savage in missions I've participated in immediately after piloting a Swift.

Not as funny as the first one, though..
BUT SERIOUSLY WHAT MOVIE/VIDEO IS THIS? I MUST WATCH IT!!

If you ever get bored:

- Find a Tipper (It's a 70s Mack dump truck). If it's on the highway, that's even better.
- Get in the back. It's one of those vehicles where you won't ragdoll when it moves.
- Get an MG and try to survive a wanted level for as long as you can. The driver will bring you around San Andreas on their own.

You can also do this on the Mule, but you can take cover on the roof like so..

Or somehow get glitched in..

In my experience, most drive by assaults always come up from behind.

The ones coming from the front will always get you when you're inattentive.

Since we can't buy the Tipper, we do have the Series A Mule for discount Insurgent pickups. And nobody will expect heavy gunfire since the radar will cover up your buddies' blips.

I'm not really concerned by other players. It's more of a random thing to do when you're bored and find a random vehicle like that.

I read on the GTA wiki that the Mariachi Tornado spawns by the Ammunation in Sandy Shores, but does it appear at a specific time or with a vehicle you need to drive?

You can do something similar with the trains. When you see one coming jump into the back. Get some sort of rocket launcher/minigun setup and let loose. You'll see cops jumping all over the shop if the train goes up north with the rocks by the tracks.

It probably has to be a certain time. Not sure.

Also, am I the only one who remembers the other spawn for the Mariachi Tornado?
