Or shutting off your in-game phone when you don't want to be invited to some idiot's apartment or called by a character for the millionth time to tell you something they told you a half hour ago.

Go to your settings.....

Turn off phone notifications.

You'll still hear that beeping sound when you get an invite/update but you wont see it unless you open your phone.

Show Crew updates: Off

I just love the attention to detail in IV. V just never really felt alive.

GTA Online is weird. I've only just started using it properly over the last week or so.

I got a bounty of 9K, some guy kept trying to kill me and then got pretty mad at me, and kept shouting at me and calling me creative names and asking me why I'm running away. Maybe 'cos you keep shooting at my face?!

Aaaaand just now a girl who can't be more than 10 (must learn how to switch mics off) is asking everyone to be her boyfriend.

There was a lad a few nights ago, i can't remember his user name but it had the number 7 at the end. He did indeed sound young so i messaged him asking him if he was 7....he replied with "I'm 8 now".

I would never let my kid play this game!

I agree. In IV people always seemed to actually do things on the streets. Walking around, talking to you and other people. In V the AI just stands around looking at their smartphone.

Although that's quite representative of the real world...
