I did pull over once, waited for the guy to come to me and shot him with the Sawed off Shotgun (I was in my Bati 801)..
 
I remember playing with some wannabe cops back when the FIB Granger was still storable.

They learned 2 things

1) A big SUV like that would never catch a Stinger GT.

2) A big SUV like that can never not get blasted to smithereens.
 
Some 🤬 just ran me over during a co-op mission, after refusing a ride and spending 5 minutes running round looking for his Elegy. And because another guy got there first, ran into the line of fire and died, I'm now spectating. :mad:

Edit: Actually, I apologise to him, he had a perfectly valid reason to run me over. It's because I'm white apparently. :lol:
 
I feel like overall people are less aggressive, but you get extremes. People are either super friendly and don't kill you, drive round with you, etc, or they're the type to RPG your personal vehicle and slaughter you repeatedly for no reason.
 
I just had a great time...

A lvl 367 guy was up in a sniper position just killing everyone and RPGing them in their cars. I mean i watched him kill about 10 players time after time.

I went up to the top of Rockford plaza and sniped him with one shot to the head.

He texted me saying "Now i'm going to kill you over and over until you leave"

After an hour of trolling him, passive modeing him and NOT dying even when he brought out the buzzard, tank and his friends i had managed to kill him about 6 times and he ran me over a couple of times he moved on to go and kill some low levelers.

So, i spent the next 20 minutes walking around him in circles and sending him comedy abuse by text. I think my new hobby will be to annoy the high level Call Of Duty types.
 
So I just car bombed some gullible idiot. :lol:

I'd just set the 'trap' up (my Peyote which looks like the custom ones that sometimes spawn, in the car park by the Burton LSC entrance) and was just running to the ladder so I could climb on the roof and get a good view when an Elegy came out of nowhere and ran me over. I respawned, checked the map and saw he'd returned to his apartment. Knowing he'd seen my Peyote, I got up on the roof and sent him a text saying 'Get in the car bro and sell it'. Miraculously, I saw his blip start heading back to LSC. Through my scope I saw a neon Sandking pull up to the entrance, and a masked figure climbed out. Suspecting foul play, he drew his weapon and cautiously headed up to my Peyote. Satisfied no one was about to blow his head off, he jumped in. And blew up. :lol:
 
If you install an ignition bomb on a personal vehicle, do you blow yourself up if you get in, or does your character somehow bypass it and not die?
 
We should start a vigilante group that hunts down these idiots and kills them until they genuinely start to cry or smash their controller.

It will only blow up when other people get in the driver's seat, so you can install a bomb as a precautionary measure and drive round all you like.

Annoyingly, the bomb vanishes after each kill. So it's a rather expensive way of trolling, but boy is it hilarious.

The GTP bounty hunters! And we should have our own theme song, like a rip off from Dog the Bounty Hunter (BTW Who the hell names their kid Dog???).

That would be awesome if it was full of people. Maybe a car chase. Damn, we are bringing ideaaaass. :)
 
I'm sure the veteran 'next-gen' players know about this, but for those that don't: I've joined a chat party with a buddy that is on his PS4, but does not have the GTAV PS4 version yet. He asked me if the next gen version was worth buying. I've sent him the "share" option in the chat party options, and he is now tearing up Los Santos in full control of my avatar while I sit and watch as a spectator. Unbelievably cool. 👍 I fully expect him to be running out and purchasing GTAV for his PS4 first thing tomorrow morning. :lol:
 
I was one of those Christmas 'noobs' on GTA last year. Even though I wasn't like "I can haz sticki bom?", or "Adderz r kewl".

But seriously, I remember it was really hard to level up and get money in December/January when I started. All the Simeon and Gerald missions were worthless. I felt rich when I had 30,000 dollars.

The only way I got quite a bit of money was through several heavily modified cars given to me, that I sold for about 300,000-400,000 altogether.
