How expensive were they? I never played GTA III. *Gasp!*
You had to buy weapons multiple times to buy more ammo. An M16 (the equivalent of the Carbine Rifle in pretty much every GTA game) cost about $5000 for only 300 rounds and it blew through them like nothing meaning you're going to spend a lot of money to use it for a long amount of time. Rockets were $25000 and you only got 5 of them. Pretty much everything that wasn't a pistol, shotgun or micro Uzi was expensive.

You also lost your weapons when you died so this was a huge pain in the ass.

For the PS4 you will want two controllers if you play for more than a couple of hours at a time. Even with the light bar dimmed the controller will die in a few hours of low-impact use. Flying, offroading, or shooting will send the play time through the floor with the motors spinning. You can play with the controller plugged in to the factory charging cord, but it is inconvenient. Charging stands, etc are also available; although I tend to just swap the controllers out on the factory charge cable when the one I'm using runs low. This an unfortunate contrast to the DS3.

Yikes. That's crazy. GTA has certainly come a long way.

I'm surprised R* hasn't made fuel run out in cars online. It'd be a great way for them to further piss off players and drain their wallets when they have to go to a gas station every five minutes.

That would be overkill, but the weapons thing seems like an interesting idea.

This would be interesting, especially for the kids in chrome Adders. After all, at top speed the Veyron will empty its 26 gallon tank in 12 minutes, so if those kids are running around the freeways at top speed...

Just bought a 10ft USB cable for that exact reason. I found myself needlessly leaving my PS4 on or in rest mode just to charge my controller. I wish you could turn off everything on it altogether(light bar too). I'm cheap, I don't wanna buy another one.

Saw a tweet from Rockstar saying snow would return tonight and be there until New Year's Day, but I don't see any snow yet...

Been drinkin all night by the window and haven't seen it yet either.

Same here regarding the extras. I have absolutely no use for the light bar and have dimmed it and turned off the active features for its use. If I could turn it off completely; I would.

SVX
That's why you don't die. ;)

On my playthroughs of GTA, I refuse to have any deaths. If I die, I restart. Same with failing a mission.

When I watched my brother play(GTA IV), he'd do that too. He refused to die in a mission. He'd just load to his last save before the mission which had 0 deaths.

I wonder if we'll go back to the "one-weapon-of-it's-type" style inventory, and if max ammunition will be significantly reduced in the future. In GTA IV, you had to conserve sniper rifle ammo, because you could only carry 50 rounds at the most.

I want snow to be around forever, as an option of course. :grumpy:

They should add snow to the forecast, like rain(for seasons). And how rain piles up on next gen, snow could pile up.

Did this "glitch" to get the lip kits off the buffalo, not very clean but at least they're off.

No the cruiser. Not the FIB.

How would you make that a civilian version, apart from the engine/other upgrades?

Just to make sure, the regular civilian Buffalo that spawns everywhere has a V6, not a V8 like the Buffalo S, FIB Buffalo, and Police Buffalo all have, right?

Ok. Now, back to making the Police Buffalo civilian-oriented. What modifications does it have that distinguish it from regular Buffalos (Obviously the engine, lights, sirens, interior, etc)?

You see the difference?

They both have V8s. The police models and the S are supercharged.
