Automatic weapons and silencers don't mix. What's the point? Extended clips look stupid on pistols. Flashlights don't do much of anything. Gold finishes are just plain ugly. Scopes and grips, I don't mind.

Also, if I could use the standard SMG in a car like the older games, that would be great.

Am I the only one who hates when people put every attachment on a weapon? Makes ugly weapon designs look even worse.



I'd like it if the game used the same weapons system as older games, but the weapons you're not using should be in some kind of storage so you don't have to buy them again. It would be more convenient and balanced that way.

Like others have said, I prefer function over form, although, flashlights are useless in this game since it never gets dark enough to the point that you need them. This game is way too bright in general.

Also, I say yes to getting the old one-weapon-per-type system, just with the weapon wheel. That is very helpful.
 
Anyone know if you can give another player a gun by dropping it and letting them pick it up? Particularly a gun that they have unlocked but not purchased.

I don't think it lets them keep it. Before I unlocked the minigun a friend of mine dropped his for me and it disappeared after I joined another session or something.

I never got why people used extended clips on pistols, aside from the AP and I seriously doubt you need 60 rounds at once in many situations.

Flashlights are practically useless.

I'm not sure if silencers actually affect recoil in-game. I might test that. I don't see much practical use for stealth however.

Silencers are for DMs. They make it so your blip won't be seen. The flashlight is aesthetic to me, scope is a must, and extended clips are immensely helpful on things like the auto shotgun and AP.
 
Yeah, pretty much the pray and spray weapons. I get that, but why do you need it on a semi-automatic pistol that no one ever uses?
 
Some people may use the flashlight when they enter darkish rooms, or dark areas of the map which are usually close-combat area... So sometimes flashlights are handy. But one thing I don't understand, is why would you need a flashlight on a Grenade Launcher? :/

Incase you need to blow someone up in a car which has their lights off at night. But it's a dumb idea

Yeah but the minigun was likely removed because you were under lvl120. My mate cant afford a sniper but has unlocked it in ammunation, if I dropped it could he pick it up and I could just buy another?


Also, the flashlight can be toggled on/off with the right arrow when aiming.

It shows like, what, 10ft ahead of you? By the time you see the car with it, you'd be flattened.

Also, we know how to turn it off. But why include it on a Grenade Launcher anyway?

I am pretty sure you keep any gun that you pick up that is unlocked. Whether a player drops it or it is pcked up mid mission

My pistol is bone stock. It's so weak, I barely call it a weapon. More like a minor annoyance.

I use my Combat Pistol alot, looks like 007 when I use it with the silencer and is great for headshots

Yes, if your friend has the gun unlocked, then he can pick it up and keep it. I have done this before, although it was on PS3. I doubt that's changed across platforms, but I haven't actually verified it on the PS4 version. :dunce: So, maybe I've answered your question. :dopey:
 
I love the angsty teens on this game. Blows me and my two buddies up, gets on the mic name calling, and saying we were poor.

And then the fun began.

I set a $9000 bounty on him, and sent mercs and a mugger after him. Once mine were done, one of the friends did the same. He ragequit before the third could.

It was a complete waste of money, but I don't care. :lol:

I don't know. I've been wearing the same two outfits for almost a year. Same three since the game came out.
