Trash Talk with a Buzzard, Hydra, or Savage for me. I used to play Rooftop Rumble with a Rhino, but that mission got boring very quickly.

Are all good grinders, but I get bored doing those over and over, so I've been starting off with one of those, then doing whatever 1 player mission comes up I like after in the menu. Just steady doing that, one after another, I can make right at 100k per game day +/-, then I sell a NPC modded Sentinel. Repeat.
 
I haven't played GTA in about a week or so and I have totally lost the will to play it at all. I don't imagine I'll be back on until the next update/DLC.
 
Editor and Thief costs me $24 every 9 (I think) runs--sawed-off.

Thanks to my sniper and marksman rifles, Pier Pressure rarely cocts me more than $400 (Edit: Just did it for $290), and if it does it's because my vest took a hit or I got carried away. :p

Both can be good for over $17k, the former usually netting less because it takes me less time as immediately after I take the case I double-back to the transit tunnels on my Enduro.

I can't imagine even Blow Up costing less--it takes a fair number of rounds to toast a car or a couple well-placed grenades. Missions utilizing Pegasus vehicles would be nice (Hydra on Trash Talk surely costs nothing once you've got the danged thing), but I've yet to unlock any. :rolleyes:

The double $/RP heists worked well. Unsure as to whether they will continue, but especially the last heist where as a player with setups you make ~$900k per runthrough was great. Completing 2-3 heists per night after work during the week was a great take for the time investment.

I didn't play them enough, but having $5.6 million is certainly enough for me.

I need to kill a revealed player (I assume that means someone pays to hide and I pay to reveal them), anyone on PS3 available?

Killing a revealed player requires you to call Lester to reveal someone in a deathmatch and then kill them. Reveal players doesn't work in free-roam.

That right there is the reason. Early in the game the updates were averaging $5-7 million between the DLC vehicles, weapons, clothing, masks, etc. The past couple have jumped to over $20 million to purchase the entire DLC.....per character. When the game was first released, it cost about $20m to fully equip a character will all of the available Pegasus vehicles, a High End apartment, full weaponry and clothing; assuming one or two cars nearing $1mil. With the increased garage space, huge clothing and Pegasus updates; that number has jumped to near $60mil. I think I spent a million the other day just on random accessories and whatnot because I hadn't purchased it yet. Even the DLC vehicle prices have gone crazy after the Hipster update. R* loves releasing stuff that costs $2+ million, only for it to become obsolete the next update and everyone buys another $2+ million vehicle haha.

This is why when there is an efficient cash glitch it's all over the place for the few days before R* patches it. They create the demand for that with the unbalanced economy in the game.

Yep. R* seems to love making daily objectives a huge hassle... why the heck can't we just do one short game of tennis instead of an entire set?

Any mission that doesn't require you to pick up things that can be exploded easily are missions that you can use pegasus vehicles. Especially missions like Blow Up. If it's the one where you have to take the Yellow Banshee, just move the car before exploding the rest.

Drive the banshee to the side. Bunch up the other cars. Place a sticky bomb in the middle. Drive the banshee to the garage. Detonate abd drive straight into the marker. No wanted level to evade.
 
I haven't got to play much lately, but when I can again, I'm going to mission spam even though I got an 8 figure bank account as is. I knew people who always waited to deliver objectives in missions which I find dumb since I can make more money by doing another mission than I would by sitting by the objective delivery point.
 
Yes, that has always annoyed me as well. You get more money by doing missions quickly than you do trying to get all the money from one mission.
 
I think R* should just change it back to the old way, like every other game that has ever existed. People still grind no matter what.

So, something in the GTA Wiki caught my eye.

GTA Wiki on the Banshee
  • In GTA V it is possible to accelerate very quickly with the Banshee by double clutching. To do so one must accelerate until they hear the car shift into second gear. The second they hear the car shift they must tap the emergency brake for a split second then instantly hit the accelerator. Doing so can make the car accelerate faster than other top performing supercars including the Entity and the Zentorno.

Right now, I'm doing some free roam testing on PC. It's especially interesting to me, since I actually own a Banshee, unlike most people.
 
I used my Banshee from my personal Online character, so it is decently tuned already. But I have found that if I get the timing right, I do occasionally get much faster acceleration than normal.
 
I knew about the e-brake acceleration boost trick, but never tried it. Also, why do people still call it double clutching when you can't use a manual transmission in the game at all?
 
It looks like the mid speed boost is something only a Banshee can really scream out.

But i guess it adds to what i can do to get better at racing with it. My testing continues to the track.
 
How rare is the PCJ 600 with the single headlight? I managed to randomly find one earlier and made it a personal vehicle as I didn't have a quick motorcycle.
 
Nof really shifting at all. Just bouncing the car off of the rev limiter, which somehow makes the car faster. I do it occasionally from 2nd going into 3rd gear, so I'm not sure if the wiki's wrong, badly worded, or if you can do it in two different spots. Kinda fun making a long number 11 down the road at 40 MPH though. 1500HP mode engaged! :cool:

Considering buying a Monroe and/or JB 700. I've had the DB5 before and the performance aleays seemed lacking to me, but it's a great looking car. The Monroe, on the other hand, has some pretty decent performance, but it doesn't look all that stunning to me. Question is: Lambo or Aston?

But seriously, if you have a JB700 laying around anywhere, paint it with a Dark Green or Racing Green metallic! It looks absolutly GORGIOUS! :drool:
