This is more or less the sheer amount of firepower being thrown at you at once than the actual weapon damage.

Well, if you (Or the idiot driver) manage to knock one of the officers off the Granger, the one that's hanging on is still deadly accurate.

If you're still in the auto-aim range then yes, you can be killed within seconds. It's kinda hard to judge distance when you're the one being shot.

Happens to me nearly every time.

It can be a bear out in the sticks...no cover from police helicopters after I shoot them.

I think I've only had the clerks pull out the default shotgun and assault shotgun before. I typically only attack 3 stores:

1: The 24-hour store near Mirror Park
2: The liquor store slightly south of Mirror Park, closer to the highway
3: The 24-hour store in Little Seoul with a car wash, next to the Ammunation

The clerks at these stores rarely pull a gun on you, but a shotgun will easily take them out if they do. I've only had a few experiences where an AI will try to attack me and out of the three stores I mentioned, it's only happened at the liquor store.

I should mention, that with the three locations I posted above, I typically have my own route with those. Rob the Mirror Park store, then hide. Once my wanted level clears, I go off to the liquor store, then hide in the LS river. After that, I go to the Little Seoul store, and hide in the subway. By the time I've escaped the police, five minutes have passed and the first store has opened up again, so I can repeat my route. Yes, it's much faster to play missions over and over, but you can do this method if you want to have a little fun or get a trophy for robbing stores.

New time trial is on.

From atop a parking lot near Del Perro Apartments, head north through the Western Highway to the Hookies biker club in just 2:04.90

Finally a challenge where cars will trump the bikes.

My view of car ownership is in both interest and usefulness, while not overlapping their purposes. For instance.

My compacts are the Panto and Rhapsody. Panto for those spots a bike can do while being a car. The Rhapsody being an interest (I'm a Wayne's World fan) and performing in Compact races. The Panto can do the latter as well, but the Mirth Mobile is more manageable.

Same case with Supers: I have a Bullet, Infernus, Osiris and Turismo R. You can figure out what they're for.

I love the motorcycles in this game. They are perfect for getting around the map quickly, and can get through narrow gaps that cars can't. Plus, backflips are incredibly satisfying.

EDIT: The only drawbacks to bikes are traffic and trigger-happy cops or players who will shoot anything that moves.

I never liked the superbikes too much. I usually just stick to the Sanchez and the PCJ. I just bring out the Hakuchou for top speed runs now.

You should get a Faggio if you're not really one with performance bikes.
