Am I the only one who generally avoids superbikes?

But you shouldn't, if you really think about it, a bike is the cheapest and fastest way to get around, especially at the beginning when you don't have a lot of money. And if they get destroyed, they're incredibly cheap to get replaced by Mors Mutual. :dopey:

^^ True, but half the people you run into in GTA online:

>Insrugents
>Armoured kurumas
>latest DLC supercar
>Some military vehicle

On the bike = exposed

exposed to bullets = gg

I did once have a scooter but everyone else was using Supercars so I would arrive 10 minutes late and everyone would just get away too quick. If we had a lot of people on them then it would be epic but alas there were not.

Because you're so save against a crew running in armored vehicles in a regular car, right?

Passive mode = suddenly no longer exposed ;)

A lot safer then a bike doe, right?

Really depends on how capable you are on the bike. I agree with you, that you're generally more vunarable than in a car, especially when it comes to an accident, however when you messed with a crew that has military vehicles you're 🤬 either way.

This is quite interesting - I got a random invite to some "jet race under the map". Didn't know one could create something like that. :p

So I am playing a contact mission with my 2nd character (only lvl 14) and one of the guys has a really nice sabre - matt dark purple with painted bumpers. He lets me drive it and it handled differently to my sabre so I asked him what up grades it had. He told me R* have adjusted the muscle car handling and when I asked him when he said he only just now found out.

Is this true?

Edit: looked around online and cant find anything.

Just get a military vehicle yourself and go MLG on them all

Pretty hard with just about 100k to my character, I invested into a nice little condo so I have more space in my garage. The only "tougher" car I have is a Dubsta I found outside LS Customs and have about 20% armor on it

But generally I outsmart and outdrive them on my lovely little Akuma. :)

I swear in online mode you could turn like friendly fire off or some sort of passive mode on party play or free roam and just go rocket launcher crazy at the airport. Like 8 of you just blowing each other sky high.

Yes, in IV's Party Mode friendly fire was off regardless of your matchmaking settings. Which I usually set to friendly fire off anyway because free roam without being able to kill other players is kinda boring

If I recall correctly, a friendly room RPG fest is funny to me, not because of the ragdolling, but because of the liberal use of cars to ram. And how blowing someone's car up while being driven results in the player sitting in the debris, and not giving a BLEEP about it.

I like that Francis International Airport was the place to be if you wanted to get your ass kicked. Now in V, the only place where that is guaranteed is the Eclipse Towers apartment building. I miss the Annihilator being the king of the sky, easily outrunning every other helicopter, and having an incredible amount of firepower. With explosive rounds in The Ballad of Gay Tony, Annihilators would shred through Buzzards. The only threat Buzzards presented to the Annihilator was it's rockets. You were a sitting duck on the ground and had to weave through a barrage of rockets while dogfighting, but the Annihilator could win almost every fight every time.

My favorite thing about helicopters in IV was the ability to perform those insane death dives. Fly to the maximum altitude, then hold L2 and pitch the nose as far forward as you could. You wouldn't go 90 degrees forward. You would go even further than that with your tail rotor leaning beyond where your head would be at level flight!

Does anyone know if it's possible to get around Rockstar's arbituary regulations in the content creator? I tried creating a good NASCAR track, but they would always find a way to spoil that.

First I wanted to convert the running track into Martinsville Speedway. Was already disappointed how I couldn't make the starting grid curve so I could have bigger grids than 8 cars, but what really ruined it was the distance limit. Then I went to the horse track, with the hopes of making a New Hampshire/Eldora hybrid out of it, only to immediately find out the only available classes were motor- and bicycles! What utter horse 🤬.

If you select starting grid size small then you can only use bikes.

And i assume for the 8 car limit you have tried a medium sized start grid with as much vehicles next to each other as possible???

Problem is, with the Martinsville track, having more than 2 cars side by side forces some to start on the grass.

Also, good point on the bike thing, lol. Sadly, the horse track appears to be just barely too short...

why not try LSI or fort zancudo runways, for me the obvious places for a nascar track.

but i guess that you tried to avoid "the obvious"

I thought the horse track was pretty obvious, apart from the dirt, of course. The runways just seem kinda boxy to me, I prefer the type of oval with smoother corners.

Anyway, yay, I made it 1 mile without disrupting the oval shape! The corners are littered with checkpoints, but that's the price you have to pay, I guess, as the game doesn't otherwise recognize the correct distance and simply measures it in a straight line... even though it's a car race.
