If an air filter is gonna be like 20k then they can whistle - getting my faction and getting the hell outta there

Okay, some more things (constantly updating so far):

2 million is probably the biggest expenditure you will have in one car.

Hydros is just press A/X, then use steering. You can do this on the move too, just be careful..

The new loop horns are just beautiful.

DO NOT TRY TO FIX IT IN LSC/BENNY'S. IT'S WAY MORE EXPENSIVE! (X10, i guess..)

You can have curb crashing issues in these Lowriders, like in the Turismo and the Zentorno. Yes, you can drive it high.

I have taken a quick look at the prices, and just damn. Damn is all I have to say about that. To upgrade my Chino (making it ready for lowriding) it cost me $185k. Hydraulics upgrade are atleast $100k. The bobbleheads that you can get are around $5k! That's crazy!
 
I take it all of the performance mods are the same turbo, engine etc

Also, the Peyote and Tornado are not lowriders?
 
I wish you could add hydro's to more cars, also lucky I did the 10mil challenge or I would have no money, stuff cost so much.

Uploaded a video, setting the rear down and scraping alone the is pretty funny, every bump pretty much launches the rear up.

 
Loving the update which dragged me back into playing, but they removed/fixed one thing I loved. They fixed the downshift+handbrake speedboost (AKA "Double clutching") so that now whenever you try to do it the engine just redlines in the lower gear with no change in speed.

I remember the last boost I did with my Comet just before restarting the game to update :(
 
No. No. No, I REFUSE to pay 400k just to prepare my cars for upgrading. May as well buy a Cheetah. Or even an Osiris.

You have to hold X+(Key) and let go of the key which moves whatever part of the car. Holding/pressing X will just make it jump.

A = Lift left side
D = Lift right side
LShift = Lift front
LCtrl = Lift rear

I don't know the layout for controllers tough.
 
A controller is simpler: hold X (DS4) or A (XBox) and use your left stick.

Anyways, I found out the secrets of the Bunny Hop. You have to be doing these things:

- Own a lowrider. So far, I only have the Faction, so..

- Be raised.

Then, hold the hydro button, and jump like a BMX. You can accidentally cancel this motion by turning (or using the individual hyraulics).

So here is how the new update works:
  • Drive rusty voodoo to Bennys
  • Pay 420k to "prep" it for bennys mods also installs tracker/ basic hydraulics.
  • Each of bennys mods cost about 20k
  • Engine covers are 40k ish
  • Change sah light colour can cost up to 5k (same as paints, some colours are cheap but others cost more e.g ultra blue)
I paid 36k for the faction, little disapointed I was kerb crashing it even stock. Seems like it was destined to be a lowrider and not a muscle car. Paid 335k to convert it and all I got was the speakers - 36k but they did make the radio sound better (bass boost??). Its now called a Faction Custom btw. Debating whether or not to splash on on a full on lowrider...

Does the moonbeam spawn in traffic or due you have to buy it?

Also, when you go into the garage for the 1st time Benny says something along the lines of 'I only work on certain makes and models although he may expand' or something like that. You cannot mod any vehicle there unless it is one of the 6 - makes me think they may bring out an update to allow other cars to be modded such as the Tornado, Peyote, Washington. A Regina lowrider would be Dope as **** tho.

Seeing as he has a Peyote WIP in his shop then I wouldn't be surprised if R* later adds it as a vehicle that can be customized at Benny's shop. As for that Banshee right when you walk in...not really lowrider-ish.
 
Straight outta Brucies garage from IV I think.
Unless the make the garage simply a custom shop that sells unique mods for all types of cars. Similar to what SA had, generic mod shops, a specialised lowrider shop and a tuner shop.

That wouldn't be a Bad idea to have a Tuner Shop as another DLC Update.
 
Hey its R*. They have been over pricing everything so that people will buy the Shark Cards. Otherwise they are not going to make money off the game. That's why everything is so overpriced. I hope someday they can stop doing that stuff.

To be honest if you grind missions you can make a fair amount of money. Also they probably won't stop doing that kind of 'stuff' if people are are still buying the shark cards.

Trust me I have enough money. I wasn't complaining about me having money trouble I was just saying that you can see that almost every update from now on is getting more expensive every time.
