Thanks for the replies. I don't like how if you die with the GL equipped, you lose the "clip" of ammo, but you only have two to begin with, so you lose it all very quickly if you get killed before you can hit your targets. I know this isn't much of an issue on next gen & PC after the latest patch since you can buy ammo via the Interaction Menu, but it's still annoying on last gen. Speaking of buying ammo through the Interaction Menu, how expensive is it compared to buying at Ammunation?

Same price

I had a similar story except in a GTA race. I got spawntrapped by a guy at a checkpoint who was killing people from a distance, and the Grenade launcher let me kill him since he was shooting from from a distance. It let me actually flip the spawn and kill him after I got him closer to me.
Sweet, although honestly I instigated the fight in my story though. rolled up, got out of the car, and fired on him.

Ended up being a pretty cool exchange, 10-6 in my favor.

^ This. Please, R*, if you're ever going to fix one thing... please fix the various hacking issues... or if not please fix the various network issues... then do a complete rework of vehicle classes... then put level restrictions on the DLC weapons so that the Homing Launcher is nowhere near as accessible as it is currently... then give me $60 million... okay, but my point is, the Grenade Launcher needs to be fixed so that it doesn't run out of ammo in 2 deaths. It doesn't even make sense, how do you even fit 10 grenades in there? (For that matter I find it hilarious how neither Valve nor R* know how to fit grenades into a grenade launcher)

Rockstar has a habit of messing up magazine sizes. The shotgun in GTA III literally had endless magazines.

I mainly use the grenade launcher against tanks or Kurumas. Most of the time tankers will back away if they hear continuous explosions, or it'll weaken the tank enough that they'll leave.

Just wondering, how many people here actually use the Grenade Launcher? If you do, how often do you use it and for what reason(s) do you use it?

I use it if I need blow up a lot of things in a short amount of time, like if you get stuck in the middle of an intersection with a 5 star wanted level. It's also good for getting people on rooftops and bouncing off of walls if you can't get a good angle with an RPG.

If you rev it already, it is.

That's the main issue, really. If you rev it the moment you see someone pop out of cover, someone's going to be full of assault rifle ammo.. in their flesh.

That's why you pay attention to the radar. Also, how slow is the minigun to react without revving? I haven't used it in a while, but it seemed fine just pressing fire without holding the aim button.

IMO not sure about the actual time but I reckon there's about half a second delay before firing.

If you call someone for their services and leave the menu up for a while, they eventually wonder where you went and try warning you.

It's that sort of thing that makes you think their coders are clever, alongside firing rockets at Michael's villa or the Clinton home.

Yes, I rubbed my eyes twice.

Curious if your PC can run it?

I've had this itch, but I can't do anything about it as I'm really busy with Uni. Even though I get to play now and then, I can't save up $600k + to upgrade a damn car.

So, I am wondering if anyone can attempt a Crazy Taxi tribute. Outfit and all. Prefered car is the Vodoo (I know there isn't a cabrio of it unfortunately)

Why the Voodoo and not the Buccaneer? It can be turned into a convertible through Benny's I think so it would look the part I think.

The pain is real, Im busy with uni till december and have/will miss out a fair few games including this lowrider update.

Also, new GT game announced for next year (I know off topic but this is a GT forum)

With a handy .bat file and a bit of messing around with settings, I think I've finally gotten the PC version to a somewhat playable state on my laptop. For some reason I'm hesitant on transferring my character, is there anything I should do on PS3 before I go and have exactly the same experience but with a few new cars and modifications available?
