So....I became The Beast last night.








Went to a 'landmark' in the LSC airport and was sticky bombed and survived with about 80% health left. After a couple Homing Launcher shots I made it out of the airport and was basically a cake walk after that. There were a couple helicopters tailing me but took them out or evaded them with ease. Visited all the land marks for 32 grand.
 
After the lowrider update I've had this bug where my black tie changes to this. It has happened twice so far and I'm not sure what causes it :confused:

Has anyone noticed that at the "select next job" screen, the next job is decided when a majority of players vote, rather than all of them?

For about two months, I've had a bug where I would see the logo from one of the Valentine's Day shirts appearing over my outfits when I change between them in my apartment. I haven't played in a few weeks, so hopefully this has changed. PS3, by the way.
 
I kept getting a bug with my crew t shirt. Had a tee that was crew colour and as I understand it you cant get the crew logo on it - it kept glitching on and off though. Now I just have a black tee with the crew logo and even now it disappears sometimes. Don't expect it to change anytime soon if at all.
 
It's utterly infuriating when a smuggler plane crashes instead of blowing up. I was using my Hydra for the speed but its rocket reload rate (not normally a huge problem) made me switch to the Savage so that I can bombard the danged things, but my last three were duds--I shelled out $200 each time to not get $30,000.

Also, I spotted a regular Peyote and it occurred to me that the increased frequency of free mode randoms might mean a gang Peyote (or other gang vehicle) might spawn and, sure enough, I got one. Now, how often am I supposed to be able to get another to spawn in that area while driving the thing? I was under the impression they would become much more common.
 
Gang cars are much more common when you're in a gang Peyote/Manana/Tornado/Buccaneer.

But still they are pretty rare to be as part of the traffic. Head to their spawn points for a better chance.

Ballas be at the "ye olde Ganton/Grove Street". Families are by the road near Franklin's place (first street race location). Vagos are in a cheap housing flat just South East of Grove Street.

If you have a Gang Peyote, you can get them to spawn like 50% of the time by going to the junkyard near the cheap 10 car garage just outside the bridge to Elysium Island. Which is good because you can get the garage there and fill it with Gang Peyotes which have a unique paint job and sell for 12k a pop.
 
I really should get back up to speed on GTA... haven't been on for a week+. I'll try to squeeze more stories out of public servers :)
 
hhhmmmzzzzz i've been thinking, don't have a lowrider myself so i cant try, but what would happen if you drive a lowrider onto a hillside, and then start bouncing the front, would you make a backflip if the hill is steep enough ?????

Maybe if you have a small rear bumper. My Voodoo hits the rear bumper and falls forward.

Maybe a steeper hill.
 
You guys know about the Buccaneer money glitch right now? I'll post it if it's not common knowledge

Appreciate it. It seems, though, that the times I tried to get one to spawn in the Vagos neighborhood behind Ballas/CGF territory coincided with a gang attack location right there and that may have been an inhibiting factor, because I've got 9 in one of my 10-car garages and 10 in another. I just plucked them up during daytime (nighttime gang attack) and have them ready to sell when I'm able. :p
 
You can also dupe the Buccaneer if you want to fill your garage to hold onto to sell later, but there's an extra step, you have to quit out of the race after you drive into Benny's and stop, but before the cutscene of your car driving up triggers

Well....tried a GTA race and all that happened was just drive in Benny's. No options popped up. I did manage to dupe a Bucc and sold it.

I'm happy to say that this update has completely changed my mind about the Buccaneer. I initially hated it, thinking it was somewhat ugly and drove like crap. Now, I actually like it, especially with the roof removed.
 
There's an even easier method of this glitch, involving street cars at LSC.

1. Get any street car (Schwartzer and Buffalo S work best)
2. Fully customize it and put a tracker on it. (insurance optional)
3. Load up the R* Verified race, The Los Santos Triangle
4. Set it to normal race and set the class to the class of whatever car you want to dupe. (set to sports if you gonna use Schwartzer/Buffalo S)
5. When the race starts, drive straight ahead to the Rockford Los Santos Customs.
6. Drive inside the LSC and stop
7. Bring up phone, press X on job list, Press Square and leave it on the menu that says 'Quit Job' 'Are you sure?'
8. Press X to quit, and immediately spam right on the dpad. (If done correctly, the name of the car and it's class will show on the bottom right, as if you were entering LSC in free roam)
9. You should spawn outside the LSC inside the car you duped with the original nearby. (if original isn't nearby, get out of the car and see if there's a tracker installed on it, if no tracker is installed, you did it correctly)

You can either sell the dupe for around 150-210k (price depends on what parts you've put on the car) or store it in your garage and continue doing the glitch.

To try.. or not to try. Maybe lessen the finance wound on getting the Franken Stange?

EDIT: Tried it with a Zion Cabrio. Got 120k. Remember: there is no Compacts, Sedans, and SUV in Los Santos Triangle.

Theres variants of each car that aren't associated with particular gangs. As far as I know, they can spawn in a driveway on Grove Street, and in the junkyard in East LS near the 10 car garage.

Other than spawn location, color, customizations, and price for selling, are there any other ways of telling them apart from regular cars?

Umm.. spawns at certain locations when driving a gang counterpart.. Has a stand out pearlescent finish.. Comes with tinted windows and custom wheels.. Sells better because they have custom parts on..

Really, what can we really answer?
