Actually theres a small chance that Rockstar may not do the Halloween Surprise again next year. Remember the Valentines Day Massacre DLC? They never brought the DLC back this year.

But still I do hope they bring back the Valentines Day DLC next year because of some stupid bug, I lost all masks except for the Cupid Mask for some reason from the Valentines Day Massacre. :banghead: *I'm glad I still have the clothing and the Roosevelt though.*

Anyone who has driven the Franken Stange, how different is it to an ordinary Roosevelt?
Considering splashing out on the 2 new cars but not sure if its worth it.

I own a Franken Stange, but I don't own a Roosevelt so I don't know how different it is in terms of actually driving one :grumpy:

I'd say buy them both if you have the money, because they're honestly worth getting for looks alone IMO.
 
I think I have around 6 mil, got a 4th property but haven't been on to get the rebate. I kinda want to get a custom Primo, maybe a voodoo as well. Already have a custom Faction and Buccaneer.

EDIT: Here are your facts.

The Roosevelt is stable, mild mannered and gentle on corners. The Franken Stange will almost always tail out on a fast corner, with mild understeer.

The Roosevelt tops out at 101.5 mph, while the Franken Stange will reach 111.5 mph.

The Roosevelt launches mildly, while the Franken Stange will leave a lot of burnt rubber marks on launch.

The Franken Stange has much more power, and a more hot rod esque engine sound. However, the wheels are popped out, so you can get them stuck at a tree or a streetlamp. The car is a nightmare off road.

The Roosevelt can still carry people outside the door. It's not powerful for off road, however..

If you actually want to race 4 doored Sports Classics... Broughy laps the Roosevelt at 1:17.870, while the Franken Stange times in at 1:16.909


In conclusion: it's very different, despite similar bodies.

The Franken Strange is like a hybrid of the rat truck and a quick muscle car.

It spins its wheels which is great for mad driving and is pretty fast. The brakes aren't very good even fully modded but none of that matters because it looks amazing. Could be my new favourite car.
 
It would be incredible if R* brought out more in-depth modding for different car classes, like a race pack etc.

A lot of people on here know who Broughy1322 is and have watched his videos. He also has a post on the R* newswire
here which I suggest if you have a spare minute to read and upvote. I don't know if it makes a differnece but he mentioned in his lowrider discussion video that it does.
 
What I'd like is if we can make a race conversion to certain cars outside the sports class, but still places them in the equally viable Racecars class?

About time we see the Panto race a Jester!

Although, what I'd prefer is a whole overhaul of the racing class system rather than add one class. It's just changing the tiny numbers in the handling file, and make it official. And we need spoiler variants for all cars.

So, in case any of you were wondering, the Faggio can make it to the top of Mount Chiliad. I tested four trails that all lead to the top, and I made it every single time. Of course, it was quite challenging, but the Faggio's inability to produce wheelspin is a blessing in disguise. Since my last run was at night, I made it to the peak just before dawn. I was also able to get the Faggio onto the Soulwax FM/cable car building. Here's two photos I took as the sun was rising. :)

Even though I've moved on for the better of the game, I truly miss the last gen days.
 
I remember one time I was sitting paused in a parking lot, reading the Singapore Star in front of my computer (newspaper, don't judge me). Then, came this random who just horned the most obnoxious horn for a car he has, which put me back in the game.

Then, chats:

"Hey Dude join my crew"

"Why?"

"just need more people pls"

"Okay I join but I want you to answer this question."

"wat?"

"using roman numbers, how can you add 1 to IX to equal six?"


What perplexes me is that he stood still figuring it out, and how long he took to do the question, at which I already reached Fort Zancudo when he told me he couldn't figure it out.


Bottom line: I am not going to join some random's crew.. except if it's an organized racing crew perhaps.
 
My Carbon RS got destroyed yesterday and I can't claim the insurance thing on it.

As you can see, someone else destroyed it and there's no charge to me, but when I click it, it tells me I have insufficient funds despite me having over $600k, and it tells me I need to buy a Shark card. I even tried withdrawing money thinking that maybe, for some reason, R* changed it to where you could only use cash to pay for insurance (not that that would make any sense) like you use to have to do with Lamar, but it didn't work. Not that any of that should matter anyway, because it clearly says NO CHARGE, so I should be able to claim it no matter how much money I have, right? Anyone know what to do here?

Complain to Rockstar, get more than enough money to replace it
 
It might be the same issue as last time with the 25% rebate for buying a car. R* might not be caught up with sending the rebates out since I got my car rebate a day after the receiving deadline.
