I've seen that some online trophies are pretty easy if you work with 2 and take turns on wins. :sly:

I'm no hardcore trophy hunter, but yes, I really do want that platinum trophy. Hardest ones will probably be getting to rank 100 & earning 30 Platinum Awards online

Were all kids really just some are bigger than others:sly: Quick feedback question is anyone else finding the missile lock on system in the Top Fun II mission flawed?:crazy: :crazy: When a few of us started off it felt fairly balanced between a hit and a miss. Now it seems next to impossible to take out the cars despite long positive lock ons.:confused::irked:
 
Anyone want to do survival grinding? I'm only level 8 so I can't host... I'm just session-refreshing so that I can get the El Camino lookalike, but then I want to save up to buy a 10-car garage.

To whoever is waiting for me to do something, the TV repair people have just turned up at my house and demanded that I retune my TV. Great timing. Sorry, I imagine you'll've left by the time this is done.

Edit: ok, so I caved and did some grinding, I think I went from level 23 to 24 solely doing the lawyer mission for Martin. The RP isn't great but the pay is decent for such an easy mission; snipe one guy out of his car, steal his case, call Lester to remove your wanted rating and drive to Martin's house. $9k, well, 8.5 minus Lester's pay.
 
Also, forgot to mention: when you pay Merryweather $7500 for mercenaries and they fail to kill the target, you get a full refund.

So If someone is in their apt, you can go to them and steal some jeeps for free!

I am looking to get them eventually. I was planning on playing the game organically for a bit and see what pops, then finish off the requirements for trophies I dont get.
But if you want to do a bit here and there for the grindy ones, add me on PSN. Hours on end of the same mission is not my thing. I like to mix it up a bit.

I get my Trophy info here. If you haven't already, take some time to read and pick some things so we don't have to do the picking once connected. Only some discussing what we need and what we'll do. :)
 
How long do you have to wait between selling stolen cars to LS Customs? It keeps saying we dont need any cars right now.

You can only sell a car every 24 in game hours (48 real life min)

So how does this work, someone calls them to kill me as I stay in my apartment and then the person who called them, kills them. They get their money back and I get a Jeep? :dopey:

Yep, but only for games where I know a Platinum is something I can get (i.e, games I will be playing a lot of in the future). GTAV is one of these games.
 
I was told if there are several players at the site, multiple Merryweather Jeeps will show up.

My brother and I hanging out next to a car that matches my outfit. I plan to paint my car very similar to this one.
 
Wow, today pretty much sucked for me. First there was the TV repair people stopping me from playing just when I started a game, three times. Then GTP_Daz and I tried and failed to do the two player helicopter one (where one player provides overwatch and the other takes the chopper) maybe four or five times, then Southend Rage and I tried one where one player steals a jet and the other has to clear the airfield; there were just loads of cars driving around all over the place and it took me around 10 minutes to clear the place. Still, I'm surprised we did it at all given he was level 9 in a level 25 (I think) mission. In other words, a lot of time was wasted achieving nothing today.

That said, I've gone from $38 to $198k in one day, next time I play (Sunday or Monday night) I'll be buying an apartment with a 10-car garage. Given that we can only own one place at a time, does anyone know what happens to your garaged cars if you buy a new property? Are they transferred or lost?
