So I've been wondering, has anyone worked out why we had to give our characters a name when making them? I haven't noticed my character being called by the name I gave it, or worked out how to find out what other players character names are. Seems like it has no use?

Got use of my mums tablet to access the app. So hopefully tomorrow I will have the plate Pirtek77 :D.
 
Rockstar reported yesterday that there was an issue with the Online saves being delayed. So the game will save your online progress, but it just takes a bit. Also, they are looking into the other issues people have been experiencing.
 
Anybody know how to increase the Stealth stat?

I know how to do Strength in like 20 minutes, but I need a friend to help me. Stealth is what I'd like to know how to do.

Rubber band your analog stick in your apartment. That's how I did it. Took me a while.
 
Guys stupid old bloke help please can someone explain why i cant change targeting mode back to auto/assist? Its locked on free aim:confused:

Edit: Fixed has to be changed in story mode.:crazy:

Sonic, it was good to race with you yesterday.

You were dominating the room, until some dumbasses joined. Some guys were ramming me of track all the time and then I decide to ruin their races they started complain. Bunch of bad losers.

Just btw, did your character stats save?

I've been ignoring invites as I don't trust the online mode until its completely fixed. Especially after last night losing $30k.
 
sadly, I drove off in a Land Rover Look-alike, But hey it's a Rover Who the 🤬 cares about a Rover, it ain't fast period that's what you need in a get away vehicle

They sure did!

Yeah, those guys didn't know when to let off. It was good for that time though. Got through ranks like nothing. It was great!

Haha, my game hanged above my apartment, then froze. I shut off my console, start GTA V, my stats are what they were this morning. 82 -> 77
I... I'll be doing Criminal Records.
 
Just got done doing a bunch of races and things. Learned a couple new evil tactics...like blowing up the other cars in the impound...and how to mess with people in a One-on-One deathmatch...and that sticky bombs are the most useful thing in the game. Seriously. Ending the night upgrading my Coquette, exiting LSC and some idiot with a bounty kills me, then blows up my car. So, I got my Coquette back, ran him down, chucked a sticky bomb towards him and blew him and his ride up. Of course, then he had the nerve to place a bounty on me, so I just left the game.

But you really can be evil with sticky bombs. To the crew member who's car I sabotoged ironically while you were in Ammu-Nation...sorry. Couldn't resist.

Mine looked reset yesterday, but only in-game. My SC page has no problems so I'm not sure if it's only because I couldn't connect to the cloud. Hopefully it is... :boggled:
 
Ooooh ya stole a f620 and was allowed to park it in my garage. Was pretty sure it was gonna be too expensive since it sounds like it has a turbo and spits fire from the exhaust, but no it was allowed.

Yeah. If a car is insured, you will get billed for the cost to replace it. Which, then it costs the owner of the car nothing, so really, you're just mildly inconveniencing them by blowing up their car.

However, I still prefer not to use my personal cars when in a random server. Collecting it from the impound or the insurance company is a pain. Which, the reason why I blew my Coquette up it was in the impound was 'cause it was wounded, so escaping the cops would be hard, and picking it up from the insurance company is less of a hassle. I've also never had my car blown up outside of the insurance company. I blew someone else's car up 'cause it was blocking my way, but, another call to the insurance company and it doesn't make a difference.

That said, I had to blow up the guy who blew up my freshly tuned car.

Also, for all of those of you who think it's funny to walk up to the female characters and do your "jerk" animation...I just want you to know, that I think it's funny to put a bullet in the head of people who do that....so...you've been warned.
