I joined for a bit but I really hate the free aim, it makes hiding behind things kinda pointless as you can't snap to target - especially for mission and such.

I steal the other cars, you and get some good finds there. I just stole a modded BMW, saved me nearly 20k in upgrades and all that.

I've been on for the past 5 hours straight, looks like it's working, cloud save and all. I'd be really cheesed if it didn't save, I finally managed to grab an apartment with 10 car garage setting me back 230k.

So my new annoyance with racing is traffic. I don't know if it's coincidence or R* did change them recently but they seem to be ultra annoying now. Pulling out of junctions, swerving across, flying at you at high speed, generally being annoying in an aggressive manner.

I never used to turn them off before, they're part of GTA racing but now when I host they go off most of the time.

Key words. "At the Moment." Once people start waking and baking I would assume around noonish it will go down again.
 
I played most of this morning and apart from one failure to save that corrected itself a few seconds later it was business as usual.

Oh something else I noticed for the first time, a 'You have acquired the maximum RP for this activity' message midway through a race. I guess to counter those exploiting the glitchy systems that give you thousands of RP.

Wait, so you're saying that you can't keep grinding the same race because the payout/RP is decent?

No I mean mid race. You get small amounts of RP for fastest lap, overtakes, slipstream etc and as well as the fact all those stats are glitchy some people found another glitch on that race around the prison that gave you several thousand RP at the end of the second lap. So I guess they're restricting how much RP you can get per race.

No idea what the maximum is but it's the first time I've noticed that message. Still getting good RP for each race that I can see and no issue replaying them.
 
Question guys, Is it possible that you can buy a car online and not have it insured when you get it? I managed to duplicate my stinger GT by accident I think, Except my duplicated one doesnt have insurance, and it costs $109375 to insure fully! and 11k to get back after that! :S

All cars bought will be insured for free.
 
Question: Should I buy a 6-car apartment or save up for a 10-car apartment? Right now I have 150k but I'm not sure if I should just wait for the stimulus package or keep saving up and buy the cheapest 10-car lot I can find.

Yeah just save up for the 10 car, no real point getting the 6-car then needing to save up again for the 10. To start with I just bought one of the cheap two car garages to hold a couple of cars then got one of the 10 car apartments at around $230k.

Haha, my game hanged above my apartment, then froze. I shut off my console, start GTA V, my stats are what they were this morning. 82 -> 77

I had the same issue at the same time after racing with you.

I was level 45 then this morning it went back to 42.
It is the second time this happened, the good thing about this is that every "car progress" that I did, buying, tuning etc. was saved. It mean that all the money I spend was for free because when the character progress recovered itself, the I got the money back.

Yup playing up again worked my way back up to level 38 (for the second time) screwed over yet again back down to 33 cash earn't gone aswell bored!!!:banghead::irked:

Yep, progress isn't being saved and I'm unable to connect to the invites I get.
