I have fallen to the dark side. I was in a race and this guy kept trying to spin my Entity out, so I got right ahead of him and brake checked him hard. The guy span out and flipped over. After the race, he sent me a profanity-laced message expressing his rage but I don't feel bad at all. I really try to race clean, but unfortunlatley you won't get far in races if you do.

I like route 68 with traffic lol. Makes it not so boring. My fav race is through the vine(? I think?). Its got such a nice flow. Unless traffic is on then its just chaos through the tight part. Laps drop from 1.22 to 1.30-35+ with traffic in the r35 lol

My Elegy got some cool upgrades today. Now it will be competitive against yours.

I can't remember if it was you or that goldensniper idiot who I spun out on the airport on the last corner, but I didn't mean to, I just took a bad line.

Last night did confirm that I HATE motorbikes on races that don't require them. I was doing the Dock Loop and I was on a Sanchez, so I KNEW I was slow, so I tried to stay to the outside and let people by, but this one idiot would come up behind me and try to pass on the outside or hit me. Eventually, I just smashed him into some rocks after he tried to bump pass me. But I also got nudged off a cliff in a race...yeah, bikes can be annoying.

It was that stupid goldensniper. Between him and that dude with the mic lol. Just before you guys all joined it was just me and those two, plus one of the mic guys mates who had a mic aswell. A good 4 races in a row they were trying to take me out. But talking over the mic trying to do it lmao. So itd be the 4 of us hammering down a strait then could here them saying they were going to take me out on the inside next corner. not the brightest bunch lol. ^rod, just put stage 4 engine, turbo and stage 2 suspension on mine:p in desperate need of brakes and trans but they cost waaay to much. Saving up for a mp412c/gallardo/adventador thing now. Just about to jump back into some races if anyones about

Same from the earlier one, can't tell why we got mission failed the first time. The second time I wanted to buy sticky bombs but took Rons plane. I didn't realize we needed to keep the plane alive.. So I jumped out over an Ammunation and boom.. Woops :guilty:. We nailed it third time though :p.

Yeah, that's not really made too clear. But after the first time it gets destroyed people try not to do it again.
 
I like to play bait car... I put an ignition bomb on a really nice (insured if it's mine) car, wait for someone to hop in, and then BAM! That's what you get for stealing cars.

I watched the miced guy take someone out at the airport during the first race, so, I got up and pitted him pretty much as punishment for racing dirty...but then...in the second airport race, I watched goldensniper take out like 5 guys in a row.

Speaking of saving up. I now have all my cars painted in the color scheme i want. I do need to change my Coquette's tires, though. Low Rider tires are not good for it. But now, it's mainly saving up for the last two cars and then it will be upgrading everything. I also learned that when it says you need to "win xx races with this type of car" it just means win xx amount of races. I now have Turbo unlocked. But it's 30k+ per car across 10 cars is 300k+ which could get expensive. Turbos might be the last thing I add. Although...I MIGHT add it to some cars after the stimulus package if I don't need it for cars and painting.

Yeah, it was good, when we could keep randoms out of the invite only session :boggled:

Also slightly comical when an AI pulled me out of my car and beat me for doing burnouts near him.

What I hate about bike races is that despite all the space people still drive into you and when they do hit you square on in the back wheel it usually spins you out.
 
Lol fail. Muscle car race with thygroothof and spy just before the final corner in the drain race and the cardboard shoots me off into their cars :lol:

Go play Survival. You get 20,000 every time you make it to the end. A group of friends and I were doing this the other day. We got to the point where we knocked all 10 rounds out un about 20 minutes.

Unless I am already doing something, I will rarely ignore invites to races that aren't those two.
I am 50/50 on the grinding ones unless I am in the mood (= couldn't be bothered doing anything else)

@Lock2Lock - you are right that Survival pays well, but it also takes 20min to do. Even with only 2 people, Down the Drain pays more than that when you alternate wins, get a good start, slipstream, and make sure the winner trails at some point.
 
I'm level 54 after 62 hours of play which involved no grinding at all. I never do the same race more than twice and I've never done the same mission over and over. Just joined races, joined missions and did them as they came to me.

Just racing and doing missions will level you up at a decent rate whilst having fun IMO.
 
I'm in level 61 at the moment with a mix of some grinding and playing missions only once. For me having fun is the most important thing as well, but sometimes missions - or races for that matter - are just as fun after 4-5 times, or they are in my opinion.
 
Some races can be fun to replay, especially if you get wrecked the first time around and want some retribution but I'm tired of people replaying those same two tracks over and over, simply because they're short, easy and make you good RP/cash. People doing one lap Criminal Records races are the worst. I mean, really?
 
LV96 here and not much grinding, I think Play Time 6d 11h 54m explains all :lol:

We got just good Finnish crew and I realy enjoy doing missions with them 👍

Escaping the police every 3 minutes in freemode helps too.

There is a place in East LS where there are 2 shops on the same road, and then there is a hill with a train tunnel on the other side. Steal from one of the shops, escape in the hills, and then hide in the tunnel.
