Felt like dressing up my character

Well I can't store it anymore, but at least I can still find it to mod... :(

Still very angry that Rockstar did not alert us about this truck disappearing, thus alot of people lost this truck before they could sell it. R.I.P. Rat-Loader I'll miss you. Crossing my fingers that I can track+insure you again after 1.09. :O

It's been weeks since the Rat Loader was removed. Get over it.

How rude and inconsiderate of you to say such a thing. Let's see Rockstar take your favorite car away so I can say the same thing to you.

If they took the Oracles away, that'd be a damn shame.

But you know what I'd do? I'd get over it.

Sure, I'd be sad if the Bobcat is removed - and I might complain once or twice. But I think I'd get over it just like everyone else instead of posting in a thread about it time after time after time.

Whatever. Your opinion is your opinion. I grew attached to that car. I guess others only see the car as a ugly useless truck. I'll shut up since I forgot you can't express your opinion on GTPlanet without getting bashed by others.

There's expressing your opinion, and there's repeating it over and over and over. At a certain point, it becomes an annoyance to everyone.

I think it's a great truck. It's good looking and feels right - but c'mon, if you don't like Burger King are you going to keep going there to complain about how much their fries suck? I don't think so.

Also, @Lucas - what rank are you? Just curious.

I admit I got a bit carried away with it. I'm sorry to anyone I annoyed (which is probably alot of people at this point). I guess in the end it's just a virtual truck. I'll live without it.
Also Burger King's fries are tasty in Massachusetts. Not too much or too little salt. Just right.👍
@Custom878 the ties are for the male characters only. I think females can get scarfs as their alternative, but I'm not sure (don't have a female character).

I think 49. Or 48. After I was gifted 60 million I just kind of stopped doing races and missions by myself, and started spending money. But a week or so ago I started leveling up more consistently and made it from 40 to 48/49.

And I glitched a tank since I got tired of idiots blowing me up. :irked:

Have anyone figured out how to use and/or get chains? I can't seem to find any once I enter the buying menu.

You need to be wearing just a shirt or tank top (or nothing) for chains to appear. They don't work with jackets or collared shirts, for some reason.

I've tried with the "stock" black t-shirt without any luck so far. I'll give it a try with a tank top, thanks. 👍

I forgot to mention that yesterday I survived my funnest bounty ever.
So I was in a lobby yesterday and for some reason someone in my friends list sets a 7k bounty on me. No idea why - maybe he was bored. I happened to be in my tank at the time, though, so I was fine. Met a friendly guy who just wanted to chill with me then messed with some people who were having a standoff (didn't kill them unless provoked, though).
The guy I was chilling with sent me a friend request, I accepted, then another friend invited me to a custom deathmatch. Lost the deathmatch, didn't really want to retry it (way too many weapons across the whole map so I'd go in with my knife and attack with my nightstick) so I quit out to a new session.
Here's where the first interesting thing happened.
The deathmatch was in the prison yard, so I spawned outside of the prison, where the highway runs past. I also happen to notice that there's a white dot on the highway heading to my location. Uh oh.
I chuck a grenade over but I don't get him - however, I do manage to get up and shoot him with my carbine rifle soon afterwards. He might not have been trying to kill me but I wasn't about to take any chances. I mash X as I run to find the nearest cover before he can respawn - luckily I manage to get to cover before he could get revenge (and the bounty), but I have nowhere to go. What to do, what to do...
I quickly call Lester and hide my blip, and call my mechanic to deliver my Double-T and pray that he actually delivers it on the right side of the highway. Miraculously, he does!
At this point I call pegasus and ask for my Rhino, which spawns in the middle of the Redwood lights circuit (or whatever it's called). I set my waypoint and speed off just before my blip reappears. At this point the guy starts following me in his Cheetah, which is a lot faster than my bike. I speed into the circuit and stop next to my tank just as the guy goes round the corner.
The guy sees me getting into the tank, and this is one of the funniest things I have ever seen on this game, as my tank barrel starts to point at him he SCREECHES to a halt, does the most drastic reverse 180 I have witnessed and speeds off to somewhere out of range.

So. Half a day gone.

Later, I'm checking out the Rockstar Verified circuits, and once I check out the last one (the motorcycle oval one) I spawn in a new lobby full of people with no personal vehicle. Oh boy!
I grab a convertible Tornado off the street, call for my tank and set a waypoint, as usual. Suddenly, I hear rotors and the signature 'whsssssshhh BOOM whssssssshhh BOOM' of a trigger happy buzzard pilot. Boy did I pick the wrong vehicle.
I speed under a bridge and get out. This way there's not much the buzzard can do, but I need to get out of there fast, because there's no doubt at least 2 other people heading my way in cars much faster than my sprinting speed. I pull out my MG and kill one of the Buzzard passengers. I call my mechanic and call for my Entity. I kill the guy waiting for me down the alleyway and speed off towards my waypoint, mostly saying 'Ohgodohgodohgod' along the way given that there's still a buzzard and 2 other people chasing me.
Somehow I get to the LSPD headquarters and get in my tank without a scratch. The 2 guys in cars are screwed and rightfully so - I manage to kill both of them without much trouble. But there's still the Buzzard to contend with.
The pilot is smart enough to fly directly above me, knowing that I can't kill him if I can't point my cannon at him. I believe at this point his passenger begins to shoot at me from above, which doesn't do much, but it could still be fatal if left unchecked or if he starts throwing explosives down.
Unluckily for the pilot, I'm also smart enough to know how to get him in range.
I speed up to my maximum speed and then suddenly stop. The pilot doesn't notice in time and the buzzard goes flying off ahead of me... right into the range of my cannon.
The buzzard is dealt with, I drive towards the airport (with a harmless low-level player in tow, for some reason) to take out any other helicopters, I reach the airport and guard the helicopter spawns for 10 minutes then... 'You have survived the bounty placed on you'. SUCCESS!!

I did my good action of the day.

I joined a random mission, and teamed up with three other people. It was Docks to Stock II. We had to get a Cargobob at Fort Zancudo. Fair enough. Two of us died in the process, one of them myself. The other two guys left with a Cargobob and a Buzzard attack helicopter.

Eventually they got to the place where we had to retrieve a container. The Buzzard guy died. After eliminating many enemies the remaining female avatar just didn't know what to do with the Cargobob. It seemed as if she didn't even know where the container was. So I guided her through PS3 messages, and she eventually died because of continuous crashes.

After we went back to the stats screen, the two other guys had left. Keep in mind, though, that she was at it for 10 minutes on her own. So I just hit restart, we redid the mission by ourselves, I picked up the Cargobob and left for the docks, she died while trying to run away from helicopters in her Buzzard. After checking online, I realized I had to use other means to retrieve the container other than the Cargobob, and in the end of the day, we completed the mission. :)

@Lucas That mission can be such a pain in the butt if you have incompetent team mates. If you don't have an attack helicopter following the cargobob defending it, 99% of the time you will fail the mission because the helicopters just keep shooting the cargobob over and over again until its destroyed.

That's true, especially if they aren't good at flying. For some reason, my other teammates insisted on fighting in Fort Zancudo, whereas as soon as I got into the Cargobob, I flew away while my partner struggled with the police.

In fact, it would have been much faster if she had just suicided earlier.

How do you retrieve that container under the shed?

How do you retrieve that container under the shed?

There are vehicles around there that can pick up containers.

However, it appears the game is more willing to tell you how to pick up a prostitute, than actually telling you how to pick up the container, by pressing "right". It took me a while until realizing just putting the crane on top of the container didn't work.

Can't seem to remember if purchasing a new vehicle with a full garage gives you resale value of the car you are replacing back. Anybody know the answer to that?

Also, with the higher end cars, a Turbo upgrade will often max out the cars Acceleration Stat bar. If you purchase Engine and Transmission upgrades on top of the Turbo, does it give you even more acceleration? Or when the bat is maxed out, acceleration cannot get any quicker.

If you sell it at the LCS, then you get a resale value.
