I've heard there's a double up on RP and money currently, is that true? :dopey: And does anyone know how long it'll last for?
 
If anyone gets tired grinding or if, like me, you still need to unlock the metal paints, I'll be running a one lap rally race at Criminal Records. I'll set it up maybe once an hour and invite the crew, if people join in, that's great.
 
With regards to double cash, I just picked up a vehicle that Simeon wanted (Ocelot Jackal) and delivered it undamaged, got paid $18,000 for that so obviously the 2X cash applies to Simeon's wanted lists when they popup. Keep an eye out. ;)
 
I'm not sure how much the cash vans usually pay out, but I hit 2 yesterday, one gave 8k, and the other 10k.....
 
It just striked me that Futo is an anagram for Tofu. And it's the perfect getaway/delivery car. Mine's been doing a lot of document delivering to Martin yesterday :)
 
After one of the multiple game freezes today I signed back in to find my Cheval Fugitive had been impounded, a car I wasn't even using.:grumpy: To make it worse, it's not at the impound to be stolen back, it has disappeared. I don't know how long it usually takes for an impounded car to be destroyed so I can claim it on insurance, but I played for quite some time after and I still can't get it back.👎
After I got tired of Rooftop Rumble (it seemed everyone else was too because no crew members were joining), I flogged my own created motocross race solo. I don't know how much money I'll need when the Highlife Update comes, but I currently have $3.8mil, and my race was paying out 6000RP and $10k for just under 4.5mins of work. So I was able to level up to 120 much faster than RR and get a Minigun.:dopey:

I did a lot today, quite often it wouldn't let me invite you because my internet was doing double duty.

Impounded cars should turn up immediately, @Paulie... :odd: Have you tried signing out off- and back in to PSN?

Edit: And it seems the double up on RP and money is only during this weekend:

It seems to work best with 3 laps, I tried 10 laps and the RP didn't increase, tried 1 lap and got jack all.

Yep, multiple times, there's some bizarre glitch happening. Like I said, I hadn't even been using that car, I was in my Coquette when my Fugitive got impounded after the game froze during a RR mission.
 
It usually gets destroyed when you bring out a new personal vehicle... until you can get it fixed I'd advise you to stay away from cops because if you get another vehicle impounded who knows what will happen.

Trick there is just spend over 4 minutes on race to get max RP and CR.

Edit:
Just tryed down the drain 1 lap and spent 4min 10sec and got 10k CR and 6k RP.
That's how it's always been to get max RP and CR 👍

Hmm, I'm only getting 5k RP instead of 6k RP... oh well, it's still fun and it's a nice change from RR. Gonna get you some likes :P

Something similar to this, I realised recently that the Bati 801 reads bati boi which is a play on the term batty boy, a derogatory term for a homosexual man.

Cheers.:cheers: I wonder if the race settings are affecting the RP you're receiving. If it helps/makes a difference I was running it with traffic on (not that there is any on the course anyway), wanted levels off, catch-up off and slipstream on. I'll set you a challenge to help pass the time if you like, using stock vehicles (I'll get a modified Blazer and Sanchez when the Highlife update comes) I set a 1'21 lap time, see if you can beat it.;)
On the course itself, I used to have ramps to jump on to the home straight but it kept spitting me sideways on to the construction area so I removed them, and after thinking hard about how I could remove that tight hairpin and still use the sections of course I wanted (figured I couldn't) I grew to like the hairpin anyway once I figured out its secrets.;)
