How do you drift anyways? Just pop a tire? I can never seem to control it.
If you want to drift well, use a Futo. Before you get to the corner, pull on both the handbrake and normal brakes until the car gets sideways, and then after that floor it. You can feather the normal brakes to control the drift if you're coming in a little too fast. The Comet can drift too, but the Futo is the easiest. The Schwartzer is really good for drifting in the hills as that can really hold slides if you control the throttle properly, although it's very easy to spin out with it too.
