I laugh, with shipping I get it cheaper than you (only by a few cents mind)

Yeah. That's the advantage with you getting the Uncut Version (hopefully). I'll be playing that most of the time anyway!

Provided it doesn't get banned or edited. New Zealand can be strict.

By the way, I just found the game they banned. Apparantly they banned Manhunt because of the style of killing. There was an uproar...I never heard about this. Apparantly, Manhunt also was found responsible for a bunch of random killings in the US...

But it's not the New Zealand version, it's an order off the net. It's bassically orderering the UK version with a NZ company being the middle man.

Yes, but what you have to understand is that the New Zealand Ratings Board must approve it according to their standards. If they do end up cutting it, they will cancel shipments from UK and send you the NZ version.

Wouldn't be so sure if NZ cut it. If you ordered DIRECT from the UK on the other hand, I would agree. I hope you do anyway, because that's an advantage for me too!

Well after 5 days of anxiously waiting for a confirmation email from GPstore I have finally got one confirming my pre order and purchase of GTA: San Andreas (Uncut). Yeah 👍

I've got $20 left to pay. I'm planning on paying it off next friday as that will be when I'll have the money. 12 days left. So close yet so far away.

To settle you and jimmys argument here is a link to the New Zealand office of film and literature classification and as far as i can see it says that San Andreas is approved.

Yeah, In the New Details of SA thread I pointed out that it had been approved and rated, I posted that about a week or two ago. Yay!

Actually that argument has been settled...

The main question about this now is the delay in Australia. That's the biggest thing on my mind regarding all of this. Me and Blake are going to EB this weekend to see if they have been updated with this November 12 rumour. Yes. Rumour. All of the sites seem to think this is "confirmed" just because one site say that Take Two Interactive said that it "could be as Australia have editing and such to do, and it may be slightly delayed". I highlighted the word slightly, as it has already been slightly delayed a day.

This, in my mind, is still a rumour. EB Games are one of Rockstar's first contacts regarding release dates, and if it was confirmed, EB Games would know. So if I come back this Sunday and post here (or Blake posts on Saturday) that it's still on for October 29th, then I'm positive that's still (and possibly the final) release date here for San Andreas.

Don't listen to the Fan Sites on this one. Trust your local game shop; they get confirmation from Rockstar themselves on any delays.

Oh definately ive read alot of posts about people who have contacted there local games store adn they have all had positive responces about october release dates here and in Aus!.

Exactly. I think it was Gamespot (most likely, as they tend to misinterpret things) that started all of this November 12 crap. It really gets on my nerves. 1 misinterpretation, and the news becomes official.

Me and Matt went down to EB this arvo and the guy there said that Nov. 12 was a bs rumour.

Ok then Deli...:odd:

And yes. Me and Blake headed over to EB today, and the guy (not the guy I usually talk to) told us that EB hadn't heard anything from Rockstar. This guy didn't know what he was talking about really, but he did check the database, so I believe him on that.

I also reserved one of those PStwo's. It comes out same day as San Andreas. I think they will most likely sell them as a package together.

Sorry about that Jimmy, it just seems like everybody here lives in Australia ! (JK, I know there's a lot of people NOT from Australia)

Hey, tell me about that PStwo when you get it, you rich b@stard! (JK again)

Enough of the off topic chit chat, I still haven't reserved SA, because I really don't think it's necessary where I live, for some reason. :odd: Also, there is this kid that I know that works at Blockbuster and he said that SA still comes out on the 19th! I know he's wrong, but I still wonder where he gets that bogus info from?

Haha yeah, it seems that way since me and Blake are on these forums alot.

Actually it cost me $80 (AU). I traded in my old (dodgy) PS2, 3 PS2 games (True Crimes, Mafia, and WWE Smackdown: Here Comes the Pain). I also pre-ordered it, and the final price was 80. So I'm not exactly rich for buying it...

Actually that was the original release date in North America. I've posted that in another thread. 👍

Of course I know that was the original release date, but he told me that YESTERDAY! It has been quite a while since they moved it to the 26th, but he usually knows his stuff and he was pretty certain about it! Don't worry, I still know he's wrong. ;)

Also, I heard you say somewhere that SA costs $99 where you're at. Call me dumb, but is Australia money different than US money? Because I think (and hope) that it costs around $50 here.
