I just found Stardust - Music Sounds Better With You is in the game! Right when I got out of the mod shop after the mission where
Michael's boat gets stolen and you have to rescue his son.
 
Killing aliens with a minigun while Michael is tripping balls. 'nuff said.
 
Don't worry, it gets weirder
when Michael's "abducted" by said aliens... :lol:

I was driving up in the countryside and a deer ran out, I mnised it but it ran into the side of another passing car and fell down. Was pretty hilarious.

Man, I love the little details like this. My first opportunity to roam the country, I noticed a couple deer on the side and I never even thought about hitting one. Quarter of a mile later, BOOM! Never saw him coming.
 
I managed to finally steal the Boeing 747 at the airport after about 14 attempts. I also felt satisfied when I found the district of Hawick and a house with a Scottish Saltire flag on it. (Other Scottish members will know what I mean)

I want 1, can you just take any, or is there only 1 you can take?

I spent about an hour "trying" to get a fighter jet from the base but failed every time 🤬 tanks :ouch:

Has anyone made it in the army base yet? I cant make it 20 ft in the gate without dying. All the pics on the social club are taken from outside the base.

You just have to get in really fast & try to know where exactly it is you want to go. As soon as you get in through the main gate, go right towards the runway & just dodge 2-3 tanks (they're slow to turn the cannon, so just make sure you don't stay in a straight line within' aim or get slowed down). The army seems to attack in groups & aren't gathered near the runways, so they'll take a couple seconds to reach you if you can dodge them.

If you get cornered though, it's likely game over, as the groups will merge on each other with tanks in tow.

I've only heard people successfully getting the 747, but no one seems to have grabbed the 737-look-a-like (twin engine instead of quad).
 
I haven't seen a "Weird moments" thread so I guess I'll post this here.

I had just completed a mission as Michael and decided to switch to Franklin afterwards. The character swap was almost instant as Franklin was cruising in his car on the very same street!

I went up to Michael, who was stuck walking on the spot, both characters said hi to each other and had a short conversation, before Michael said he was busy and needed to go; he then continued to walk on the spot.

Still as Franklin, I jumped back into the car, got a run up and tried to run Michael over. Instead of hitting him, Michael was unaffected but Franklin's car was absolutely wrecked, as if I slammed head on into a truck. Michael began swearing - still walking on the spot. As Franklin I got out of the car and tried to initate another converstaion, this time though, both characters began arguing. I attempted to punch Michael but it just was not possible. After a bit more arguing the screen auto-changed to Michael's view, where he knocked Franklin out cold.

The game respawned me at the hospital as Franklin and deducted $5000 from my account. Very much a "HAHA... ha... err what?" moment.

Funny - seems like every NPC has a Bleeter presence. Things you do in the gameworld will get Bleet or two if witnessed by that NPC!
ie when I was running around in my underwear, it got an entry from the chick who I said hi too :)
 
I jumped out of a helicopter and parachuted and started a mission right away, after I finished the cutscene while driving, the chopper fell from the sky and exploded, wow
 
Infinite money!! Found a nice glitch, although I've only used it twice because I want to work for the money, but here's the link for those who are curious.

What you do is hover above the money, collect it, quickly switch characters, immediately switch back, and the money will respawn.
 
LOL, I took over a bus and went on a traffic crashing rampage, to jack up the shares I bought in Angry Insurance.... then I parked it on the freeway to block all lanes one side and big jam formed.

I then hopped out and jacked a big rig truck, but I ran over something and it exploded?! I got wasted, and so respawned at the hospital.

As I was walking to the road I saw a cute chick walking down the street and I interacted with her and she sounded upset and went on about a big traffic jam on the freeway and how she was late for her hairdresser's appointment! :dopey:
 
No, not really, but it'll get ya by until the first heist, and if you wanted to you could earn a million in a minute or so.
 
Drove from trevors house to los santos around mout chilliad. On the highway there was a car crash and I helped out a wounded women. Seems she was into criminal activities. She needed medical attention and drove as fast as I could but was to late. She died in my car. If I made it on time she was supposed to become a help for futere heists. I was awe struck about how cool that was!
 
I believe she's one of those random events. I helped her out too tonight, but I've already got the story complete.
 
I've had so many good moments, that make me say Holy 🤬 out loud. I can't remember most of them but some of the random events that pop up are some of the best (and funniest) missions so make sure you do them.

Few random events that I can remember:

Some chick was tied up on the ground with two guys about to kill her, I kill them and then give her a lift somewhere which took a long time. She says she won't forget me, get a call 5 minutes later and she transfers me $60k!

Van pulled over on the side of the road, I get out of the car and - instantly get shot with the stun gun and black out. Wake up naked on the railway tracks a few seconds before it runs me over! wtf?

The first time you do and see some things are pretty amazing, like the first time you see the sunset/sunrise and thunder storm which blew me away. And the first time you fly a heli or plane and see the map from up high. Or look down on the map at night from on top of a mountain.

I just had a good moment, by visiting Mt. Chillad, where I stole a bike and rode 6 miles to Michaels home. That, was fun. :D
 
Rolling through Franklin's home turf whilst listening to foreigners dirty white boy!! Many more amusing moments to come I think.
 
I've just taken a Declasse Granger along the Mountain Trail at Mt Gordo. Well, tried. One of my favourite things to do is just liberate someone's SUV from the city and take it off-road somewhere.

So anyway, about (I'm guessing) a third of the way around I found a small lake. I decided to get out and have a swim, and see if there's anything cool hidden underwater. There wasn't, so I got out and back into the Granger to carry on the trail. And I promptly reverse into the lake. Currently I am stuck on the mountainside and the taxi guys can't come and rescue me, presumably because I left the road about a mile back. Ay, dios mio. :(
 
Took some high powered cars for a blast around the perimeter of the map last night whilst taking in the sights and sounds.

Flying my blimp at low altitude watching the cops chase down some goons then landing to take the money and ammo and flying off again.

Again, watching the cops take out some perps, shooting an innocent peds car and said car mowing the cops down.
 
Random pot shots with the sniper rifle never gets boring. Especially at the traffic lights to a busy road, goodbye tyres. Then when they get out, just watch their heads pop!
 
This is a mission easter egg but I'll put it in spoilers in case anyone want's to find this on their own and not read about it first.

Ok there's a mission where you are up in a helicopter hunting some of the O'Neil brothers out in a forest after they crashed their jeep, you are given a thermal scope for your sniper and while using the thermal mode one of the heat readings has a very similar outline to bigfoot! :scared: when I exited thermal mode the bigfoot figure disappeared, there's already plenty of vid's on YouTube of this if you want to check it out if you missed it in the mission. I now know I will be spending many of hours hunting him to see if he can be found in normal gameplay or if it's just a one time mission event.

Holy crap! Did it work? I hadn't even thought of this. My business sense doesn't work in video games apparently.

I suppose it's a recommended strategy isn't it?
