that's a shame, there was so much potential with this project

There is still a huge potential.. !!

Remember it is a Vision GT. And many of them they came out of nothing. When we stay on the radar, the news of a new VGT and especially a new 'Community VGT' wouldn't be so big if everything is on the table, from scratch to release. So, whe are still looking for a 3D modeller who can translate our 2D designs (from @Nessy te be exact) and would have to a voice in our group. Thats also a reason we are a bit of radar now, because to many opinions would be like a huge brake on the project. Like as any other in our group, we are not thinking and voting for our own believe or opinion, but from our own eyes what a VGT would be look like, what it would have on board (like the innovations) and how it should drive (what would be the most fun to drive).

This week I'd contact with somebody very close to the people at GT. Just a small note and a 'cry' for help. He couldn't because he's too busy at the moment, but he's supporting our project and I think he would help when we are a bit further (like, when we've cool 3D models a power train and more details on our VGT.
And at this time.. 'Computer says Yes..' :sly: :gtpflag:

Follow up from yesterday... (because laying down on the couch and ill gives you time for this) ;

We are looking for you!

But who exactly is 'we'?

We are GTDesigned, a small group from all over the world. We all have one thing in common; one project, one goal and we have a strong belief that it is gonna happen.

We are a group of 11 enthusiasts with a connection to the Gran Turismo series. This game has something, a part in all our memories. Quoted from Wikipedia, "To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the series, Polyphony Digital announced 'Vision Gran Turismo'. This is a special project featuring concept cars designed for the game by top automobile companies, as well as sportswear brands Air Jordan and Nike, and automobile designing companies such as Zagato."

Now there's a small chance we, as GTDesigned, could have our 'Community VGT' in the game. On
May 29th, 2016 there was some very optimistic news for our group too. Quoted from GTPlanet.net, Kazunori Yamauchi said: "We are going to continue with the Vision GT project, we are not even halfway done with it. Some manufacturers have already expressed desire to make more than one, so their numbers are growing."

This quote and the rest of the item gave us an enormous boost of belief. The GTDesigned community was silent, and chatting was a matter of 1-3 messages a week - until that quote..
We have already designed a small car with multiple options that could change and what it could eventually become, but first we are really in need of an experienced 3D modeller who is also familiar with Gran Turismo (not a must, just preferred) who we could recruit to our team and has belief in our project. We can't show our sketches right away, because releasing a Vision GT is also a matter of surprise to the audience; not only the Gran Turismo players, but many times automotive news sites will write about new VGT concept cars. Your work, your talent can be spotted by numerous brands and people.

We won't steal your designs, you will be a part of the group, and everyone stays the 'father' of their own work. Also, when you make a 3D model of a 2D sketch, you'll be the designer of
the 3D model and the 2D sketch will be credited to the rightful creator. Everyone will get full credit for their own work.

Do you like this project? Do you believe in writing some history in Gran Turismo? We are and we
need more contributors, like you! This project is on volunteering base, we can't pay you in money, we pay you in moments of pure enjoyment and hopefully in a well deserved future as a designer!

Thank you,
GTDesigned
