It's was a joke.

Sarcasm detector broken. Remember Furi Is Faster Than You ;)

I have run a full race at Le Mans and know exactly what I need to do with stops and fuel as its about 28 laps maybe 29 with a parade lap.

At the end of lap 7 its just about gone dark and by lap 17 the sun is rising again. Started the race at 3pm.

So we're doing a full 24-hour cycle? Nice. I can handle 40 minutes of night. It's the 8 hours that are a bit depressing. ;)

Is this a dry series or will there be changeable weather? (I vote for dry - heavy damage is enough of a challenge, and sunsets/sunrises are only half as nice with a cloudy sky...)

Oh no no no, this is a Furi Racing League, He's going to throw everything at us.

Day/night racing and weather into the mix. Got to have your wits about you.

Changeable weatheron tracks that allow it and time change for Le Mans. If half these guys can handle 60's classics on sport tyres in the wet in the WSC, this should be easy ;). I am so lenient I allow intermediates for crying out loud! :p

That is true. Us amateurs have the edge me thinks.

Humor detector broken.

^ Fixed

I presume we are having a separate championship for Pro and Am as well as an overall championship?

Changeable weather would be ok, if it wasn't on settings that absolutely guarantee rain during the race. Especially on tracks like Monza where rain probability is usually very low, this is just annoying.

Sports tyres are quite ok in the wet in GT5. Much better than slicks (Racing H/M/S).

There's so many variables in this series, I wouldn't be surprised to see a different winner pretty much every week. :dopey:

Changeability settings I use as a base would usually be Le Mans 5, Monza 4, Spa 6 or 7.

I think with R1600 in this series, everyone's chances of winning are out of the window. :p

Not another bloody alien!

200Kg ballast increase for R1600 :sly:

Sorry if I'm missing something here, but why are there 20 drivers? I thought it was max 16 cars per race in GT5.

Agreed... 👍

Kinda obvious, given the fact that Sport tyres are grooved...

Not everyone will make every race. 4 are reserves essentially. Also Fox is right, we have the overall GTE championship, PRO & AM categories, and overall makes (top 2 for each make count).

That's probably the reason why in 80% of your races where it can rain, it will. ;)

Never rained at HSR TOCA :p

I'm about average honestly. I'm not that fast outright, but I tend to be good with saving tires, so....we'll see. :dopey:

I'm the same.:sly:

Test session saturday for Le Mans, we'll also test the caution system.

Banter bus is back

As it stands, when yellow is called (at Le Mans) race until leader gets to either start line or the sector just after the mulsanne. Then slow to pace speed, and regardless of whether field is bunched up or not, green flag at the next half lap mark.

It rained at a TOCA event at HSR in S3. I remember that because I had a massive spin in the BMW. :grumpy:

Yeah, think you or Dax was there (actually think it was you) and complained that I took you out, when you lost it by yourself.

No, laugh at you when you screw your tyres.

I'll screw my tyres, but I'll also have a whole lap in hand...

Not gonna help much when you spin at every turn and run out of fuel as well...
